Madison's POV.
After discovering that he and the chairwoman are blood related, Randall bursted into tears and got really emotional. I could totally understand why he acted that way because he grew up only having me as his family.
Now, that I am slowly introducing him to his extended family in his Russel's side, it's normal that he gets overwhelmed of all the changes happening in his life. After calming him down, he sat beside his grandmother's bed and held her hand. They eventually became like magnets that cannot be separated from each other.
Meanwhile, Russel walked towards me and suggested to leave them alone for a while. We went out the room and decided to drink a cup of coffee at the rooftop of the hospital. We sat beside each other in silence.
"So... how was your mom?" mahinahong pagtatanong ko sa kanya nang basagin ko na ang nakakabinging katahimikan sa pagitan naming dalawa.
"She's still recovering after passing out. According to the doctors, she almost killed herself," he answered then took a sip on his coffee.
"I... I'm sorry for what happen," I said weakly.
Russel turned to his side and looked at me. "You have nothing to be sorry about, Madison. She was the one who came to you and you are not accountable for that. Mahina na ang baga niya ayon sa mga doktor. Kaya siya nawalan ng malay nang araw na 'yon."
I felt that my tongue became too thick to formulate words from it. I just bowed my head while looking at the cup of coffee that I am holding.
"Now, let me ask you something," he said softly. Tumingala ako uli sabay tumitig sa kanyang mga mata. "Why did you brought Randall to her? You don't have to tell the truth to the kid. My mother is going to die anyway."
"I'm only granting her a wish, Russel," mahinang sagot ko sabay uminom sa paper cup na hawak ko.
"Wish? What kind of wish?" Russel gave me a puzzled facial expression.
"Her wish is to see you happy before she leaves," sagot ko sa kanya habang seryoso pa rin akong nakatitig sa mapupugay niyang mga mata.
After hearing my answer, Russel was too stunned to speak a word. I bet this isn't the kind of answer that he is at least expecting to receive.
"She begged me to get back with you, Russel. She begged me on her knees in front of the many people at the exhibit. She swallowed all her pride for you," I added and he was still silent. Obviously, my words were still not sinking into his mind.
"Nanay din ako kaya naintindihan ko siya. Magmula noong ipanganak ko si Randall, wala na akong ibang inisip kundi iyong mga bagay na magpapasaya sa kanya. I don't want Randall to grow up and blame me that he wasn't able to meet his grandmother because I have been selfish. I also told him the truth because I know that it will really make you happy," I said softly with a broad smile on my face.
Russel reached out my hand and cupped it with his. "I really am. Bringing Randall and telling him about my mom, made my heart really skipped a beat. You really made me happy today."
"Thank you, Madi," dagdag niya na maluha luha pa ang kanyang mga mata.
Bakas ko ang saya na gumuhit sa kanyang buong pagmumukha nang pasalamatan niya ako, matapos kong ipakilala si Randall at Chairwoman Divina sa isa't isa.
Malaki man ang galit ko sa nanay ni Russel pero isa din akong inang gaya niya. How can I possibly not grant her a wish, when what she only wants is to see his son happy? I don't want to be a villain to a person who's running out of time already.
And besides, Giselle was right. After all, I can never be at peace, unless I let go of the past baggage that keeps me from moving on and becoming happy.
Tumayo kaming dalawa ni Russel tapos ay lumakad na upang bumaba na ng rooftop, nang bigla na lamang akong huminto sa paglalakad tapos ay humarap uli ako sa kanya.
"Russel, I forgot to tell you one last thing."
"What is it?" he asked me in a low rumble of voice.
"Panindigan mo'ko," deretsong sabi ko sa kanya.
Nakita ko naman ang biglaang pagkunot ng kanyang noo tapos ay marahang natawa. "W-what? What do you mean?"
"Ginalaw mo'ko noong huling gabi natin sa resort. Hindi ako makakapayag na hindi mo'ko panindigan ngayon," saad ko habang seryosong nakatitig sa kanyang mga mata.
Russel became muted all of a sudden. Obviously, he still don't get my clues yet. I just rolled my eyes and took a deep sigh. "Damn! For pete's sake! What I mean to say is that I'm still madly in love with you, Russel Yosef Silverio. Paninindigan mo ba ako o hindi?!" sigaw ko sa kanya.
The corner of his lips lit up after finally confessing my feelings for him. "Hell, yeah! Who am I to say no? Come to daddy, honey."
He immediately threw his cup of coffee on the side and run towards me. I also did the same and as we are about to meet halfway, I threw myself on his wide chest. Russel wrapped his arms around my waist and our lips collided for a passionate, igniting kiss.
After withdrawing from the kiss, he looked at me full of lust and intimacy. My knees threatened to buckle with butterflies on my stomach.
He cupped my crimson cheeks with his palm and whispered, "Nothing can ever break us apart again. Never in my wildest dream, baby. You better get yourself ready, for this is the last time you will ever go to bed by yourself. From now on, I'll be crawling down to your legs and bring you to heaven on every fucking chance I get."
"You're scaring the shits out of me but I like that. Well, befriending angels from heaven is not a bad idea after all," I chuckled with small giggles.
He pressed his lips against mine and I kissed him back again.

"Oh, come on, sweetie! We can still participate in the family event, even without your Uncle Trevor or your daddy. Let's go or else we'll be late," utos ko kay Randall habang nakatayo ako't nakapamewang sa pintuan ng kuwarto niya.
Nakadapa lamang ito sa kama niya habang yakap-yakap iyong unan at nakabusangot sa akin.
"Family day won't be fun without at least one of them, mommy. I'm not going to school anymore. My classmates will just going to mock and tease me because I only have you."
"Oh, please! Nahihiya ka bang ako lang ang kasama mo? There's nothing to be ashame of. And besi-"
"Ma'am, dumating po si Sir Russel," sabi ni manang na ngayon ay nakatayo sa hagdan.
"What? But I thought he was out of town for work?" Nakakunot na pagtatanong ko kay manang.
"Surprise!" Bigla na lamang sumulpot sa harap ko si Russel na may matamis na ngiti sa labi niya tapos ay binuksan ang mga braso niya para sa akin.
"Mahal!"
