Madison's POV.

I ended the conversation I had with Trevor at the rooftop with a warm embrace. His silence became the loudest scream inside my head. I know how much pain my words had caused him, but this is the truth that he needed. The truth that I can never reciprocate his feelings for me. The truth that I can never love him the way I love Russel.

Trevor is indeed every girl's ideal man. He is kind, warm-hearted and walking a green flag. I know that the woman he will going to love after me, will be the luckiest person on earth. Imagine, I didn't force him to take care of me while I was pregnant, but he still volunteered to do it.

I also didn't ask him to be the father figure for Randall, but he still initiated. This is why I needed to break his heart for telling him that I am still in love with Russel, because I know to my heart that he deserves better. He deserves to settle for more and he deserves to get the kind of love he is willing to give.

Trevor Gatchalian Liego is the standard. I don't want him to just settle for being just a second lead. This man deserves to be a leading man in other woman's story.

After mentioning Trevor's name, Russel lifted his brows and gave me a frowning face. "What did you guys talked about?"

I rolled my eyes at him, then folded my arms against my chest. "Why do you even want to know? Kung ano man iyong pinag-usapan namin ay labas ka na doon."

Russel took a deep breath and rose from his seat. It is pretty obvious that he is trying his best to stay calm and composed, even after giving him a bitchy attitude. He walked towards my direction and stood tall before me. "Baby, let's talk outside," he said softly as he held my hand.

I abruptly withdraw my hand from his grip and took a step backwards. "We don't have anything to talk about, Russel."

"Yes, we have. What about that night at the resort? Are we just going to leave that unattended?" He said. A small corner on his lips turned up as he gave me a lopsided grin.

Nanlaki ang mga mata ko sa gulat nang bigla na lamang niyang banggitin sa harap ko iyong tungkol sa nangyari sa aming dalawa sa resort. Mabilis kong sinilip si Randall sa takot na baka ay nadinig niya si Russel.

Nang masigurado kong tulog pa rin si Randall ay hinawakan ko sa braso si Russel sabay hinila siya palabas ng kuwarto hanggang mahinto na kami sa pinkadulo ng corridor.

"Why do you have to bring that up?" I asked him in a serious tone of voice.

"What? We can't just leave that unattended," he said with a grin on his face.
