Much of the trip to the pokémon center had gone by as a hazy dream. (Y/n) only remembered using her power to allow Gold the use of some of the old home's appliances in order to help keep Silver in stable condition.

When the medics had arrived, they attempted to separate her and Gold from Silver, but they refused to let him leave their sight. However, there had been nothing they could do to prevent the separation once Silver bad been safely transported to the nearest pokémon center.

(Y/n) could easily recall how she had remained seated in the lobby without making a sound. The only thing that had brought her out of her trance had been the arrival of the people she considered as close as family. Lillie had forced her to eat while Gladion asked her questions to keep her mind away from bad thoughts. Hau had been there for emotional support and kept them updated on Silver's situation.

Crystal had also been there, even if it was only for a moment. Despite (y/n)'s lingering doubts about the girl, she had still be grateful for Crystal's help. Being that it had been her last day in the region, she left soon after everything was handled.

One person that (y/n) had entirely forgotten about was Mr. G. He had practically disappeared. There was no sign of him at the pokémon center, and Gold could not find him anywhere else despite needing him to help give a report to the police. Of course, everyone involved had been asked to give a police report regardless of how little they were involved in the case. (Y/n) had given as much information as she could before she had been forced to take a rest. Although she hadn't used too much of her power, her body automatically shut down on its own whenever she had exhausted all of her energy.

Now that a couple more weeks had passed by, she was more than fully rested as she woke up from her bed and yawned. For a second she blinked in confusion for she had forgotten the thought that crossed her mind. She slowly got out of bed and trudged towards the bathroom when she finally realized what it was. "Silver's able to leave the pokémon center today!" How could she have forgotten something so important to her?

Even at the cost of missing some of her duties as Wahine Uila, (y/n) had visited Silver at the pokémon center on Ula'ula Island every single day. Silver had barely scrapped by when he had first been admitted, and (y/n) had spent the first four days staying the night out of fear for his health. It was terrifying not knowing whether or not he would make it through the night, but he was able to pull through.

It was still a longer road ahead of him towards full recovery, but the pokémon center had given him the clearance to leave now that he was completely healthy as far as basic functions were concerned. His bruises were still fading, and he had to keep his hands wrapped in bandages to prevent further damage, but otherwise he was back to a relative norm.

The ferry just wouldn't move fast enough for (y/n) as it approached the island. The moment the boat docked, she was hurrying to land to run to her destination.

"Oh, there you are," Gold spoke up when she appeared in the building. He had been on his way out and stopped when she walked through the doors. He and his superior were the only ones left taking care of the Remnant Rocket case. "He's still in his room. They haven't let him go yet, but the paperwork should be ready soon."

"Thanks, Gold." (Y/n) found that Gold had become fast friends with Silver just as Gladion had. Although the two had started off on shaky terms, they got along quite well. It was sad to think about considering Gold knew he would never be able to speak to Silver again once they parted ways, but it was sweet to see their interactions. It was almost as if they had truly known each other for many years.

She and Gold got permission to enter the backrooms of the pokémon center, and made their way towards Silver's assigned room. Just as (y/n) was about to knock on the door, Gold's phone rang. "Sorry, I have to take this call. It's my boss," he excused himself as he quickly turned back to walk down the hallway. (Y/n) proceeded to knock on the door and opened it upon hearing Silver's familiar voice from the other side. She peeked into the room and found Silver starring back at her. He gave a small wave before looking away to stare off at nothing in particular.
