(Mark)
Seeing Hope's car pull up brought every fibre of my being to attention. All my hair stood up on end as I watched Hope in her cute white dress walk toward me. All this time away from her sure had treated her well. Her hair rested on her shoulder in a loose plait, and the sun shone on strands of her hair, making her aura seem ethereal. Before I was fully pulled together, I had stood up, yellow roses in hand and held out my arms graciously. She ran toward me and I wrapped my arms around her, I pressed my face in her hair and inhaled deeply. My pet was home.
She smiled as she accepted my flowers and we sat down.
"I missed you so much, Hope," I confessed.
"I missed you too, Mark." She said with a smile.
Although seeing her again was great, something had changed, I could tell, her energy, it was different. Before I could figure it out, she had already started to talk. I congratulated her in her accomplishments, she explained her plans to apply to the local university with her best friend Jasper. This however piqued my interest, who was Jasper? I asked her this very question and to my horror, she explained, that he was her best friend, and he had joined her in Greece. She stopped rather abruptly as if there was more but she couldn't say it. I however had other interests on my mind.
"So, where are we?" I asked out of the blue.
"In what?" She asked quizzically, taken aback by my question.
"In our relationship." I said pleadingly.
"I guess...we are dating." She said.
My face fell and she said she needed to tell me something. Then she broke into this whole story about having passed out and having a whole vision of some kind. She said she was warned of two loves or something. When she finished, my brain was fried, I massaged my temples as I tried to wrap my head around the information I had imparted on me.
"Who's the other guy?" I blurted out.
"You have to understand, it's Jasper." That was all I heard when I zoned out, my nerves were split, that... disgusting... guy, dared touch what is mine!
I was getting angrier by the minute and I lost it,
"What are you talking about? That's basically cheating Hope! Besides was your 'vision' even real?" I burst out.
Hope's face fell as she replied,
"Yes it was real, Mark."
I scoffed, "I don't believe you, and how dare you go around kissing other guys."
I watched as she stood up and threw the flowers at me.
"Go to hell Mark, I never want to see your face again." She spoke strained.
She turned to walk away but I was quick to grab her arm. Swiftly, she swung her leg up in between my legs and made contact. I groaned and fell down cupping my sore area.
"Wow, you weren't kidding when you said you were strong," I muttered, she huffed and walked away.
I let out and angry exhale and got up, I brushed myself off and stormed away. I will get you Jasper, I thought to myself. I pulled out my phone and dialled someone, luckily they picked up rather quickly.
"Yes sir." A voice spoke.
"Get to Cafe Le Bleu by pm. We have a new target," I said before hanging up the phone with a smirk on my face.
