Being in this club for more hours than usual is terrible! I sometimes hate overtime, but what can I do? Only the boss tells me when to come or when to leave. I wanted to eat, but I can't get out. Especially now that the party is at its peak. People will need more drinks, get more drunk and of course, buy more drinks so they could fill their stomachs with alcohol and terrible sickness later on.
As I was taking a tray of drinks to the crowd, I saw one familiar person staring at me like I am his prey. I was feeling uncomfortable, so I looked away and went to the opposite direction. He was the last person I wanted to see. Not now, please. Not now, not ever.
And just when I though I was already safe, he grabbed me by my hand and we stayed like that for a few seconds. I didn't even dare to look at him. I got intimidated. I didn't know how to react, or what to expect. He dragged me out of the club, and when we reached his car, the first thing he did was open the door for me.
"Get in." He said sternly.
"I have work, Mr. Choi."
"I said get in." His voice was calm, but authoritative.
I just went inside. I already forgot where I put the tray, but that's the least of my problems now. He walked towards the car door and opened it. He sat down the driver's seat and closed his eyes. He took a very deep breath and sighed.
"Why didn't you tell me you are in this club?" He asked me.
"Am I obligated to report to you?" I asked, I saw him open his eyes and turn to me.
"Then what am I to you? A customer?" He was half yelling at this point.
"Mr. Choi, please..."
"ANSWER ME!"
I got scared. But I already knew what I should say. "And what am I to you? You couldn't even defend me when that 'Miss Kwon' or whoever she is was lying to everyone!"
"Yuri..." Mr. Choi hesitated. "She's my cousin, and I didn't know she would do that."
"But I still got fired, thanks to your cousin."
"When you left, I got mad at her! She's crazy, I know. But she's my cousin."
Liar. "Please, Mr. Choi Minho, I don't want anything to do with your cousin or you." I said and opened the door. "Please leave me alone."
I left quickly, half running. I heard him call my name, but fortunately, he didn't run after me. Because if he did, I'd probably take back everything I said.
Mr. Choi Minho, will only be a memory, at least to me.
*
Did it go according to plan? Yes. Was it painful? Yes. I started liking Mr. Choi because I felt like it didn't matter to him if I was a waitress or whatever I was when I am doing my job. Not that I am doing anything immoral, but sometimes, working in a club has a negative connotation to it.
I quickly changed a different clothing so I could go home and sleep. And when I was about to get out, I saw a tall figure outside the club, and that person happened to be the guy that returned the ring Mr. Choi gave me. I was really planning to leave, but now I am having second thoughts. And just when I have decided to just walk past him, he turned around! Fuck!
But he's not looking at me. Ha! Who am I kidding? To him, and everyone else, I'm only a waitress who works in this club or in a fast food chain. I'll just walk past him like I don't recognize him. I'm pretty sure he won't mind if someone walked past him, right?
"Ahh... b-baby..." Did I just hear a girl moan? "N-not here... Ah-"
How rude! Are they serious? How can someone as rich as that guy not get a room? Is he even sober? I'm pretty sure he's not, but whatever, that's none of your business, Seul-gi! Get over it. Some people just like fucking. It's a normal thing people do. It's human nature! Dammit!
My steps were getting heavier as I walked closer towards the exit. I am contemplating whether I should just walk casually or run. My decision on walking casually ended up with me half running, trying my hardest not to look at them. I am already a few steps away from them, but I could still hear the girl's loud moans. Okay, that's disgusting.
That guy was pretty cute. I must admit. But was he even human? For him to not even feel shame. I'm not trying to be innocent, but it's still disgusting. I am walking towards the unit when I saw a bunch of guys staring at me like I'm some kind of meat.
I swear I am thankful towards the person who invented flat, comfortable shoes, because I am now half running. Unfortunately, a guy caught my hand and he was too strong. I tried to yank my hand but he held on it like he knew me and that he shouldn't let go of me.
"What the-" I was about to say but the ugly guy pulled my arm and smelled my hair. Talk about pervert!
"Smells like flowers during spring time!" He said and tried to kiss me when I saw someone pull that ugly person. It's him!
"You might wanna stay away from her." He said and stood in front of me.
"Wanna play, pretty boy?" The guy that grabbed me first said and smiled like an idiot.
"Nah, I'm too lazy for games. But my friends can play with you." He said and snapped his fingers. A bunch of men in black were scattered in the area and went closer, Was it his bodyguards? "Still wanna play?"
The ugly guy tried to run, but was caught by one of the guys in black. And everything was in chaos. He dragged me towards the building- where my unit is- and we stayed there for a few minutes before he decided to ask me.
"Where do you live? I'll take you home." He said and looked at me with a strong gaze.
"I-" I almost stuttered, so I cleared my throat. "I live in this building."
His gaze was still the same. "Be careful when you get home." He said and crossed his arms. "I'm not gonna be around you everyday."
"I never asked you to help me." I replied.
"But you looked like you needed it." He said and held out his hand like he was trying to get something from me. "Your phone."
I am probably still scared, and not in my right mind, because now, I handed him my phone. He dialed a number, and I heard a ring from his pocket. He typed something and finally gave me back my phone.
"Okay, Seul-gi. Call me if you need anything." He said and walked away. I looked at my phone and I saw his number under the name "Sehun".
