After two months of being in this stuffy room, I can finally be discharged! Thank goodness! I am very thankful towards Sehun. Because aside from him settling the hospital bills, he also gave me his time and took care of me. I am a little bit embarrassed, though. I can't even do anything for him.
I saw him frown when he answered his phone. I just sighed. I just need to give him a chance right? We don't have to be a couple. Just friends. It's a great start. And besides, I'd like to have a friend like Sehun. I just feel comfortable around him.
"Let's go?" Sehun said and helped me walk. My right foot is still in a cast. But the doctors said I can go on a therapy and after a few more months, I can be free to walk again. I hope so! Because I don't like the feeling of being in bed all day.
When we rode down the elevator, someone rushed to probably use the elevator. When I saw who it was, my eyes widened. It's him! Why is he here? Is he okay now? How did he know I'm here?
"Kris?" I asked, and he just smiled at me. "KRIS!" I gave him a hug.
"I chased you towards this elevator!" He said and patted my back. "How's your leg?"
"I'm fine. How about you?" I asked, and looked at his face. "No more stitches..."
"I'm good." He said and looked at all the bag I brought. "I heard you stayed here for more than a month."
"Yes." I said and smiled at him. "But I am now discharged."
"Let's celebrate at your unit." He said, and in my peripheral vision, I saw Sehun's face frown a little bit. "I'll call Seohyun. I'll also introduce you to my new girlfriend."
"Already?" I asked.
"Don't worry. She's nice." He said and we heard a bell ring, indicating we're on the ground floor.
I looked at Sehun, then Kris. "It's okay." Sehun said, then I looked back at him. "I'll just... leave." He said and turned around. He started walking away from us. He knows Kris is my cousin. I just don't get why he's acting that way. Is he mad at me?
I looked at him as he walked away from me. I don't know why, but somehow, somewhere deep down, it hurts. I just snapped back when I felt the weight of Kris' arm around my shoulder.
"So how's my cousin before the accident?" He asked.
"Hmm... doing good?" I didn't know what to say.
"Really?" He raised an eyebrow, not believing what I said.
"What?" I just laughed and playfully punched his arm.
"And Sehun?" He asked.
"Ah," I said and cleared my throat. "He's a friend."
"Right..." His voice was teasing. "Friend."
"I'm serious!" I yelled and got into his car.
"I didn't say anything!" He said and laughed.
We just talked about how well his treatment went and that I should go to New York, too. He'll go back there to stay for a while and keep himself busy with their business. But the thing is... I don't have enough money for a treatment in New York.

Kris and Seohyun came with a girl who looked familiar. This was the girl from the hospital! I don't understand. If Kris and Ms. Song had a relationship before, then why was she at the hospital? Were they friends? I just smiled at her and gestured them to come in.
