The gym was filled with a bunch of girls when Haru and you came in. You couldn't tell if they were all here to try out for the manager position or just here to watch.

Haru and you were waiting by the gym entrance for Kannie. The brown-haired girl called you, saying she would be here any minute. You could tell she was out of breath when she came in through the doors.

"Did they start?" She questioned. Her brown hair was pulled back into a high ponytail, with her bangs laying flatly on her forehead. She was surprisingly wearing her school uniform, even though she was home the whole day.

Haru was scrolling through her phone. "No, they are just warming up." She pointed towards the boys warming up in the gym.

They began to discuss the position, while you looked around for your brother and his friends. Hajime and Matsukawa were setting up a net in the first court, while Hanamaki was talking with Kunimi. Kindaichi was nowhere to be found, and so was Oikawa.

You felt a tug at your arm from Kannie, as she led you towards the coaches with Haru. They were giggling and whispering to each other.

Head coach Irihata Nobuteru was sitting on the bench by the first court. The other coach, Mizoguchi Sadayuki, was telling the girls who wanted to try out what to do. There were a total of five from what you could tell. You thought there would be more due to the number of girls in the gym already.

Haru and Kannie went into the circle around Coach Mizoguchi. Just as you were about to leave and sit up on the second floor, a deep voice called out for you.

"Your Iwaizumi's sister, am I correct?" Coach Irihata asked his hands in his lap. His black hair seemed to be brushed aside, and his gray eyes were giving you a hard gaze. Analyzing you.

You gave him a nod and he motioned you over to sit by him. Which you uncomfortably did. Haru and Kannie gave you a questioning look, and you looked at them with pleading eyes to help you.

Haru got the hint and was about to walk over, but Coach Mizoguchi stopped her and was asking her questions.

"Do you have any experience with volleyball like your brother?" Coach Irihata began, you didn't want to look at him since you felt embarrassed for some reason. You kept your gaze on Hajime.

"No, this is the first match I'll ever watch." You whispered, unsure if he heard you over the yelling. Hajime was currently yelling at Hanamaki about something.

Coach Irihata surprisingly heard you, "Well, you will learn something from this match. We are going against Karasuno High School."

"I heard about them," You started. He seemed to be interested as he turned to look at you. You are gazing right back. "Karasuno is a former powerhouse of Miyagi, the school has represented the prefecture at the Spring High nationals nine times."

When you went to the bathroom after lunch, you looked up their school. You had a basic knowledge of the school. You didn't know why, but Hajime passively talked about them. You were curious why, so you looked them up.

Realizing you might have sounded odd, you sunk back into the hard metal bench somehow. Coach Itihata let out a full-blown laugh, making you think you said something wrong.

"You are something. Sit with me while the match is going on, I want to hear your opinions on things." He smiled at you, making you nod your head. You felt like you wouldn't even be able to say no anyways.
