loving you had consequences
_____Kunimi was found to be murdered.
He was murdered about a week ago, and his body was found in an abandoned building. Many of his belongings were taken. The police assume that his body was found a few hours after being killed due to the tampering of the body. The young boy was buturally murdered.
A group of young teenagers found him. They called the police right away. It was vile how there were most likely tons of people who saw Kunimi but never contacted the police.
It's a cruel world out there.
People found out Tuesday morning due to the amount of new articles. The killing was violent. Intentional. Purposeful. Sickening.
There is a video clip of a news reporter interviewing a young boy who was around Kunimi's age. He was one of the teenagers who found the body. The look of fear was displayed on the boy's face. He was shaking, and couldn't properly form words, but there were a few words that came out.
"His face was gone. He didn't have a face."
The interview was quickly cut short after the boy's mother pulled him away, shouting at the reporter for even asking him such questions.
The police didn't want a lot of information to get out, but the media always have some way to get something out.
Kunimi's face was said to be crushed in. It sunk back into his head.
You wanted to throw up when you heard the news. You watched the clip of the interview. You watched the young boy shake in fear. You read every single news article that was brought out there.
The police were going to do a full investigation. Kunimi's missing case turned into a murder case. Aoba Johsai called off the rest of the week to allow students and staff members to mourn their classmate.
Since the volleyball team was already in the middle of their tournament, there wasn't a call off. The head coach sent out a message to the group chat regarding the boy. The team would keep playing to honor Kunimi since he was on the volleyball team. That he would have wanted this.
You couldn't stop shaking at the thought of Kunimi being murdered. You didn't want to leave your room. You didn't want to go to this stupid fucking volleyball tournament.
You hugged Hajime when you came downstairs after getting ready. He hugged you back tightly. Neither of the two of you cried but there was a painful sadness in the air.
Was Kunimi targeted? Did someone have it out for him? The killing was so brutal, it had to be.
How could this happen?
_______
The volleyball team gathered in front of the school. There were new reporters everywhere. They were trying to interview people from the volleyball team, but nobody spoke. The coaches were hurrying everybody onto the buses.
You sat with Oikawa on the bus. Hajime was with Matsukawa while Hanamaki was with Shido. You wanted to sit by your brother but he sat right by Matsukawa. Oikawa was the only one open.
The bus was mostly silent except for a few whispering from people. You gazed down at your phone, reading the last chat you sent to Kunimi. Now, you know why he didn't open it.
Oikawa started typing on Snapchat, and you opened the chat. You were confused, and he kept typing waiting for the response.
