I woke up the next morning to the sun shining in my eyes. I usually slept with the curtains closed but I had forgotten last night after Soda left. I sat up and rubbed the sleep from my eyes. The house was quiet again so I figured Two-Bit was still at the Curtis'.

I got up and opened my door, making my way to the kitchen for breakfast. I was stopped before I got there by Two-Bit pulling me into a bone crushing hug. It took me a second to process what was going on but I hesitantly wrapped my arms around his neck. I felt the shoulder of Soda's flannel I was wearing become damp and realized he was crying.

"I'm... I'm sorry Ki. Really, I shouldn't have gotten mad at ya like that. You can date Sodapop I don't care just- just don't hate me. I don't know what I'd do if ya did I mean-"

"Hey, I don't hate you. I would never." I cut him off. "I mean I was mad but I would never hate you Two" I hugged him tighter and ran my fingers through the hair at the base of his neck.

"I just- I know I already said this the other day but I can't lose you. But I trust Soda. I do. He proved himself to me yesterday."

"What happened?" I asked. He lifted his head from my shoulder and ran his hand through his hair.

"I kinda got myself wasted at Bucks and he just happened to show up and took me home. Made me stay there so I wouldn't scare ya. Man I- I feel terrible I mean you shouldn't even have to worry about being scared of me." Tears were forming in his eyes again and I pulled him into another hug.

"I'm sorry Two. I mean, it was some of my fault too. And I know you didn't mean it like that when you said you were the closest thing to a dad I've got. I'm real sorry." We pulled away again and his eyes were back to sparkling with mischief and laughter instead of tears.

"You ain't got nothin to be sorry for. Soda's a good guy and I can't get mad at you for that. Just don't break his heart ok."

"Wow. Sounds like you care more about him than you do about me." I laughed while walking towards the fridge.

"Hey, I don't want either of ya getting your heart broken. Just promise me that if y'all break up you won't go for anyone else in the gang. Soda's the only one I would trust you dating." I pulled the strawberries out of the fridge and started cutting them into slices. Two sat on one of the bar stools on the other side of the island.

"Not even Dallas?" I smirked, raising an eyebrow. Two's eyes widened and he stared at me in shock. I started dying of laughter at the look on his face.

"You ain't been doin anything with Dallas Winston right Ki?"

"No. The closest I've been to him is when he drove me to the DX after breakfast one day. But that was worth it for the reaction. You shoulda seen the look on your face oh my god." I was on the ground at this point, leaning my back against the cabinet and trying to calm down from my laughing fit.

"God Ki. If you ever start dating Dallas Winston I might just have to disown ya."

"Oh come on Two. He's not that bad. Plus, I don't like him like that anyways."

"Yeah 'cause you like Sodapop." He wiggled his eyebrows and smirked at me, popping a piece of strawberry into his mouth.

"Shut up." I rolled my eyes and looked at the floor trying to hide the blush on my face.

"Kiera likes Soda! Kiera likes Soda!" Two chanted, running around the house. I got off the ground and chased after him, eventually tackling him onto the living room carpet.

"Wait! I need to do something very important." His face looked like he was being serious but I could see the mischief in his eyes.

"What could be so important-"

"You and Soda need a ship name! I'm thinking Ki-pop. Or maybe Seira. No that's stupid. I think Ki-pop is the winner." I rolled my eyes and got off of him, grabbing my bowl of Strawberries from the counter and heading back to my room, ignoring the chanting of "Ki-pop" that rang through the house.
