-Connie-
Sky slammed his phone down on the kitchen counter, "She still won't answer!" He dragged his fingers through his hair to keep himself from punching the wall.
Johnny gave him a look that obviously meant that he hadn't believed that Connie would. When Sky hadn't found Connie on the streets outside the building yesterday, he had gotten a DeJa'Vu feeling. But the difference from that time with the goddess was that he knew that he would see Connie again. It didn't make him feel any better and it hadn't helped that when he had returned to the apartment, his bandmates had torn him apart. Sky knew that he had acted like an asshole. He hadn't meant his words in the way that Connie and apparently his friends as well had interpreted them. When she had told them that she had a date he was just hoping that she was kidding. He had taken it for granted that he would be spending valentines with her. Even if it was only as friends. When she stated that she wasn't kidding he got mad. Why hadn't she ever mentioned that she was seeing someone? When had she met him? Was she planning on giving up her virginity? He didn't want to believe it, so he accused her of lying.
When he had explained this to his friends, they got upset all over again and told him to get over his bullshit state of mind and ask Connie out on a real date. To them, it was obvious that he was head over heels for her, but Sky hadn't budged. He wouldn't date someone he was working with. He wouldn't let it turn into a Molly situation, even if it seemed more likely that he would play the part of Molly.
When Sky still hadn't been able to reach Connie the next day, he decided that he would buy Connie roses as an apology. And just to make sure she understood that it wasn't a romantic gesture, he had convinced the other guys to buy roses as well. Mateo, Kyle, Nash, and Johnny had all received a text message with a thank you hours ago, but still nothing for himself.
He was about to call her again when Nash snatched his phone away. Sky started to protest but Nash just placed his phone on the other side of the counter, "You need to relax! It hasn't been twenty-four hours since Connie rushed out and you're acting like a madman."
"You sure look the part. Did you sleep at all?" Mateo added to Nash's statement.
Sky nodded. "I did." Leaning back, he mumbled, "Damn feathers..."
Kyle raised his eyebrows at him, "Still dreaming about that chick at Halloween? It's been, what? Four months now?"
"Yeah, almost. But it was different last night." He closed his eyes and tried to visualize the dream he had had. Tiny white feathers glided through the air. A golden sheet laid on the floor, and on it, his goddess used to lay naked, calling for him to join her. But last night it hadn't been his goddess.
"Connie?" Kyle guessed.
Sky opened his eyes and nodded.
"Come on man, I don't get it, why don't you just ask her out? It's obvious that you want her. Nash asked, shaking his head.
Sky didn't really want to get into this again, but he sighed. "First of all. We work together. That's a disaster about to happen. I want to do the tour without drama."
"Connie isn't Molly. And if it doesn't work out, I really can't see Connie acting as Molly did."
Sky knew that Nash had a point. He didn't say that it was his own behavior he was worried about, instead, he continued. "Connie loves her job and I don't think she would do anything that could compromise it. That includes me! And..." He cut Nash off before he had the chance to intervene. "You have all been in media training. No official dates until you know that you want something more serious. If the media gets wind of all the dates we go on, they'll run the playboy headline. That could hurt the Volt and our fans. Like it or not, we do have an image to uphold."
