"That's why I shouldn't trust prophecies. Did the beast flee? Who dares to leave without my permission?" Casting out my territory turning the sky dark with bright shades of purple and exposing my back to the frost elf to try and purposefully catch him off guard. As he threw his trident all it took was one hand and some force to completely shatter it. "You're last. Until I get the beast you wait here." I have to end this quickly. Ashborne said he'll give a gift and I hope it is what I think it is.

The Beast monarch teleported out but I could easily track him down since my domain was spread across the whole world. For some reason, he went to a forest.

"Shadow Monarch. I The king of beasts, do not wish to fight with you. Please, Forgive me for my atrocious acts and accept me as your ally. Soon, the King of Berserk Dragons will lead his soldiers down here. Then the army of beasts and I will help you."

"Alright. Before that, I need to pay you back for what you did. Five of your claws tore through my chest. due to this, if you can handle just five of my attacks, I will forgive you." I'm sorry but theirs only one person I'm willing to work with, and that's not you.

"You dare play tricks on m, the king of beasts! This may be the end of me, but you won't be safe, either!"

He may have grown in size but all it took was 4 slices for his legs and 1 for his head. Now it's time to finish off the Ice elf or how ji-soo referred to him as ugly ice f#$k.  Walking out of Igris cape I couldn't help but smile at the memory and throw a few of the beast monarch claws to the floor.  "The monarch of plagues, The king of beasts, and the frost monarch. The deaths of these three will be a warning to the other monarchs." 

He started screaming but it seems all it took to kill him is one stab from behind. Beru came running and when I ask where the man went he had no clue. But the dagger that remained on the floor told me what I needed to know. 

Teleporting to the location to see him sitting against a wall surrounded by rubble. "Did you think I wouldn't know if you just left like that? Are you going to leave again without a word like you did now? Father."

He told me what happened and how he was trapped but freed by the rulers at a cost. "I didn't want to show you this side of me. Did you hate me?"

I had to be honest with the man in front of me. "Yes.When I first started out as a hunter, when I was at death's door and barely survived to see mom and jin-ah again. You appeared in my mind. And I always hated you whenever it happened but I also missed you. What about you? Did you miss us?" 

The rain that had been falling since the start of this conversation hid the tear that fell." I missed you all the time. Even though you couldn't see me, I was happy about the fact that I was able to see you from afar."

He stood to give me a hug and all could feel is relief that I was able to talk to him again but there was also anger in the whole situation. "Is it the rulers? Are they the ones controlling you and throwing you away?"

"They simply gave me an opportunity to make a choice. I chose to protect you an I Don't regret a single thing about it." He simmered in what simmered like gold flacks in my arms. First Ji-soo now my father.

"Listen up monarchs! You will definitely pay the price for what happened today! You hear me, Monarchs!"

After the monarch's deaths, their forces withered away with them. I returned home to my family to their joy and questions. The one I hoped they didn't ask.
