I walked on the colored lines on the edge of the curb, arms raised to help my balance. Jin watched me within arms reach. Whenever I was about to fall into the street or tilt to the sidewalk he would correct me and let me continue.

"My house is on the next street." I looked up from my feet to see a street upheld just as he mentioned.

"I know this will be stupid to ask but do you think your family will like me?"

"They liked you in the past so I'm sure you will be fine." Even with his encouragement I still had this upsetting feeling in my gut. The last time I felt this I was hit by a car. "We are here." Let's hope Jin is right. "Mom, Dad, I'm home."

"Welcome home. Did you bring your friend as well?" That voice is all so familiar. His mother called out from the kitchen. Her back was to us until we moved deeper into the home. Face to face her movements froze. "Oh, you didn't mention it was a girl." Not soon after his dad stormed out at the word girl and Jin-ah ran and hugged Jin's waist.

"Son you're bringing girls home now."

"Let me introduce you all. Mom, Dad, sis this is Jeong Ji-Soo, my girlfriend. Ji-soo this is my family. Father Sung Il-hwan, Mother Park Kyung-Hye, and little sister Jinah."

"Girlfriend. You mean a girl who is a friend right?" His father wasn't mad but more surprised. Shaking his head in response his father's eyes started to water. "They grow up so fast. Next year you will start high school and now you have a girlfriend."

"I thought it would be proper to bring her and let you guys meet her."

"Well, sweetie would you like to stay for dinner?" His mother was patting her husband's back while she asked her question.

"I would love to. I bet your cooking would be amazing." Laughing my compliment off. "If it's ok can your son and I study while we wait for it to be done?"

"Sure thing I'll get It started. Jin why don't you show her to your room." As he was told he started to guide me to his room as if I don't know where it is. The souls kept making a fuss as normal and one of them mentioned how Hyung-hye was giving her son thumbs up.

The door closed I placed my hand upon it creating a soundproof barrier so no one can hear. "Jin my love can you show me Beru now?" As if on cue Beru weaved his way out of the shadows.

"My lady!"

"Beru!" Both cried and we embraced. Beru was stiff and barely applied pressure on me as if he was afraid to touch me.

"So you are the one our Majesty fell in love with. Everyone compliments you and won't stop talking about you." Bellion. We never met face to face. He's freakishly tall and his armor is to die for.

"I've been waiting to meet you all I've only seen you guys through the abyss. In Korea, it's normal to bow to pay respect to another but seeing as how you guys are my future husband's soldiers I feel as if you will be dishearted to have your lord's love bow to you." Seemingly pleased at my response he smiled and gave a deep chuckle. Jin on the other hand was shocked.

"You see me as your husband already."

"Well yes. I loved you before I met you fighting robotic wolves. You were so small back then. I'm glad I got to you before Cha Hae-in. I have no thoughts of breaking up with you so you are stuck with me until some supernatural force kills me."

"You mean one of us."

"Nope." Drawing out the word and popping the p. "Your shadows not to mention mine and myself will be there to prevent that from happening."

"Good to know I'm well protected." He flopped onto his bed legs draped over the edge. "Come here." Like a dog to its owner, I walked over to sit next to his laying body.

Moving my hair to one side of my head I lean over so our eyes are leveled and kissed him with no hesitation.

"Its almost as if you can read my mind."

"Who said I can't read minds?"
