(Ji-soo pov finally)

The rulers gave me a place to stay and another handled my enrollment at Jin-woo's middle school. My apartment is furnished and decorated with the help.

"Is there anything else Ms. (L/n)?"

"No, I will be alright now." The smile on my face wouldn't go away. I can't wait to see Jin's face. How should I pull it off? I could play it off as if I don't remember, or go back to being mute for a bit. Is that toxic... maybe.

"Remember to go to school tomorrow. Your uniform is on your front door." Nothing more to say he left shutting the front door behind him revealing the cerulean blue jacket and close to the black skirt. under the blue jacket was a white button-up shirt.

I've never been to a Korean school so this will be new to me. Jin help me get accustomed to Korean life like the subway before we teleported everywhere and formalities but school is a new topic.

I lay on the couch swallowed up in a blanket as I watched a historical drama. This reminded me of beru. I just want to run to Jin's house so badly. He lived in that house pretty much his entire life so I bet he's still there. No keep it together (Y/n) we are surprising him at school. Keeping true to my word I stayed put till I passed out.

In the morning I got ready and grabbed my stuff. Heading to the subway and getting into a crowded cart. I was gonna keep walking after the subway but this is so boring by yourself. walking into a side alley and using my new abilities upon awakening. Camouflage and my wings. Now they don't only fly but actually function allowing me to fly. The downside is they are ginormous like 2 times my wingspan.

The hallways were crowded along the windows with people but they were nice enough to leave room for people to the wall. The middle school had 4 floors. The first is for facilities like the teacher's offices, shoe lockers, and nurses. the 2nd was for the 1st years the 3rd for 2nd years and the 4th floor is for 3rd years. one of the teachers guided me to my homeroom.

The ruler put me down as an overseas transfer student so I will go with the flow. I did tell them to put me down as Jeong Ji-soo since (y/n) (l/n) may stand out too much.

"Everyone's class will be starting now." Everyone sat down and I got a good view of everyone's faces. The guys were eyeballing me and the girls were slack-jawed. I can say I held the same expression when my eyes caught sight of a cute guy with black fluffy hair. They must have pulled some magic to get me in the same class.

I just wanted to cry as I saw him as his 14-year-old self. "We have a transfer coming from overseas. Jeong Ji-soo."

Oh, do I have to introduce myself? "Hi I am Jeong Ji-soo. I'm originally from the U.S. but moved to Korea for a few years and then went back. Now I came hoping to stay. I hope you all would take care of me."

The teacher finished up and pointed me to the anime protagonist's seat. I'm just 2 seats away from Jin.

The bell rang and guys flocked to my seat asking me questions like how I liked Korea so far, and how the U.S. Wasn't long before girls did too. I didn't have time to answer any questions before the next got asked.

"Shut up you are all loud." Everyone shied away from Jin's voice. His shadow ever so slightly wavered. I got a fuzzy feeling inside of me. Jin hides his soldiers inside his shadow while I hid mine within my soul.

I got up to walk out the door tapping Jin on the head with the bottom of my fist. He rubbed his hair down got up from his seat and followed after me.

We walked down the hall ending at an empty dead end. No one in site Jin practically tackled me into a death grip. "It's so good to see you again." I couldn't help but return the feeling.

"It took you long enough to kill them all. How are beru and Igris. You can't forget Tusk or Bellion. There's also kaisel. I want to see them." I pulled out of the hug, speaking without taking a breath.

Jin laughed at me. "They all missed you. Bellion even wanted to meet you. Would you believe me if I told you they build a castle for you?"

"I would since I say it. In the void, I was able to watch you and your knights in dark armor bravely fight the monarchs to save little old me via fancy gaming screen." Jin's face dropped and seemed annoyed. "love you good."

"Yeah everyone is being annoying. They are all gushing because you mentioned them." All I could do was make an 'Oh' face. I grabbed his face down to my level looking around his head.

"Do you hear them like thoughts in your mind? That's so cool." Jin swatted my hands away. "So when can I see them again?"

"I can ask my parents if you can come over. Use the excuse of studying since you are new."

"Gasp. A 14-year-old boy going through hormones brings a girl home. How naughty. Would your parents even allow that?"

"Ha ha very funny. You act as if we haven't done all that already. The fact of my parents, well they liked you for the first time. I'm sure they would like you again." His expression went from ticked to an s#!t eating grin. Pulling out his phone presuming to be texting one of his parents. "As long as it's fine with your parents they said sure."

"Just say yes. Did you even mention you are bringing home a girl?"

"They didn't ask." What am I gonna do with him?

The glove. I grabbed his hand and before he shook me off I took it off. The burn marks from the dragon monarch. "If you want me to heal them I can?"

Sighing, "It's fine. It doesn't hurt or anything."

"Yet you hide them." No remark. I began to drag him back to the room where the people still in it gave us funny looks as we entered. I grabbed Jin's bag which he didn't oppose. Now everyone was flipping out at how docile he is.

I went through it pulling out a pen and placing his hand on the table. People made grotesque faces at the sight of his hand. Using the pen I drew little doodles over his scars. Little flowers and weirdly misshapen ants. At least I tried.

He held his hand up and his smile and softened eyes made me gush.
