Liam thought that they were fine, but, apparently according to Theo and his stupid self, they were not, because since their lovely sleep together, Theo hadn't spoken much to Liam, unless Theo deemed it absolutely necessary. Liam was pissed off about it.

It wasn't like Theo was completely avoiding Liam, he was still there everyday after Liam had finished school, in order to pick the angry little werewolf up, but their conversations were shorter, and Theo seemed slightly anxious, and very tired.

At first, Liam assumed it was stress from a new job, but it's been almost two weeks now, so that can't be it. They'd barely seen each other in these two weeks, Theo hadn't even made a single sarcastic comment in these two weeks, something was wrong with his favourite science experiment, and Liam was both worried and very annoyed at this.

Liam was yet again, sat in silence, in Theo's truck, on the way home from school. All his attempts to strike up a conversation had been brushed off.

"Theo." Liam tried again.

He received a hum in response. A fucking hum.

"Wanna hang out?" Liam asked.

"Can't. Got work."

"You had work this morning." Liam accused.

Theo sighed, knowing he had been caught lying. Again. They fell into silence once more, Theo pulled into Liam's driveway, and Liam sat there, unmoving, refusing to leave the truck.

"Don't be difficult, just get out the damn truck." Theo spoke.

Liam rolled his eyes, and crossed his arms over his chest, puffing out a breath.

"Only if you come and hang out with me." Liam demanded.

Theo glared at Liam, debating whether he should just sit here for the next ten years, or give into the stubborn little shit. He was obviously going to give in.

"Fine." Theo sighed and unbuckled his seatbelt.

Liam smiled, still frowning a bit.

"Wait." Liam spoke. "Lets just go drive around."

Theo rolled his eyes, does Liam think he's made of money or something? He doesn't have the money to keep spending it on gas, for fucks sake. He's almost got enough for that nice apartment he saw. But whatever, sure, he'll give in. At least that way, they're not stuck together, between just four walls, maybe Liam has someplace in mind they can fuck off to.

He started the car again, and pulled out of the driveaway.

"Anywhere in particular?" Theo asked, very annoyed.

Liam shrugged. Of course he had no idea where he wanted to go, there was practically just air between his ears, Theo should've just expected that, he gave this idiot too much credit sometimes.

Theo sighed, keeping his eyes on the road.

"We could.. go to yours?" Liam suggested "I've never seen where you live before." Yes.. yes you have, dumbass. You're sitting in it right now.

"My place is a work in progress." Theo responded.

"Oh. What does that mean?" Liam asked.

"Renovations."

Liam sighed, sinking further into the seat from the awkwardness, and turned his attention to the window. He really missed how Theo was with him, just a few weeks ago.

"Fine, you win. Just take me home." Liam whispered sadly.

Theo turned his attention away from the road, and looked at Liam, he nodded, turning the vehicle around.
