A couple months later, after the chaos of Christmas and Lily was over, Liam decided he'd had enough of being cooped up in their apartment. He'd texted his mom and asked when her next free day was, and made sure it was the same day as Theo's. Fucking workaholic went back to work a little over a month after Lily was born, Liam was pissed as fuck.

But that's how they got here. Liam's mom came round to look after Lily, he dragged Theo's ass out the door, and they were walking aimlessly around a random shopping centre. Until Liam spotted the puppies through a pet store window, and like the child he is, begged Theo for one.

"Liam, we live in an apartment. I don't even think they allow pets." Theo sighed, trying to remove his arm from Liam's grip.

"But- but look at how cute they are! No. Theo, stop!" Liam dug his heels into the marble floor as Theo pulled the whiny little shit away from the window.

Once Theo deemed them far enough away from the cute little fluffy companions, he turned around to look at Liam who was of course pouting. He chuckled "When we've got more money and have a bigger place, we can get a dog." or two. But Theo obviously left that part out.

Liam's eyes immediately began to sparkle, and he looked absolutely adorable. Until, he began to focus on something from over Theo's shoulder, a scowl settling on his face. Theo looked back, noticing Mr Geyer. Maybe they should just go the other way, or just leave the centre all together. Liam's first trip out, he doesn't need to be dealing with this.

It seemed the man hadn't spotted them, so Theo took the chance to grab Liam's wrist and get him away from there, before anything could end in violence. We all know what Liam's like by now.

"Let's go get food?" Theo suggested. Liam's always hungry, it should take his mind off of the asshole walking through the centre.

"Okay." Liam sighed, still pissed he saw David.

They'd decided on just sitting in at some random Italian restaurant, and so far it was working to take Liam's mind off of it, as he dug into his ice cream float as they waited for the food to arrive.

Only thing is, Liam eating out in public is a fucking mess, luckily Theo has no shame whilst with his Little Wolf. The damn idiot already has ice cream on his chin and all over his lips. Theo sighed, reaching over and wiping the mess his boyfriend has made.

"Thanks." Liam said, smiling as Theo's fingers brushed over his chin and lips.

Theo simply rolled his eyes, licking the disgustingly sweet treat from his fingers. Why does Liam have to like so much sweet shit?

Their food came out a minute later, and Theo's phone buzzed as the waitress placed the plates down in front of them, asking if there was anything else they needed. Liam of course ordered another ice cream float, he wasn't done being messy just yet.

Once she had left, Theo took his phone out, a picture from Liam's mom of Lily looking absolutely adorable. He stared at it for a few minutes, smile growing so wide his face almost hurt.

She was on her tummy on her mat, propping herself up on her elbows as big eyes stared at the camera with a wide, gummy smile. Theo turned his phone so Liam could see, and once he'd finished cooing over his little baby, he got pissed.

"Why'd mom text you and not me?" Liam sulked, stuffing food into his mouth.

"Because you rarely check your phone." Theo chuckled "Do you even know where it is right now?"

Liam's eyes grew wide as he patted his pockets, realising it wasn't there. Theo chuckled once more as he dipped his hand into his pocket, revealing Liam's phone "It fell as you got out the truck."
