They've been living together for a few weeks, and Liam's still trying to wrap his head around things. Theo isn't actually as much of an asshole as he originally thought.

Sure, Theo's shown a softer side of himself to Liam beforehand, but it took actually living together and being together - another thing Liam can't quite believe - for Theo to finally show that side of him.

Theo is needy. Theo likes cuddles.

Liam has also caught Theo - quite a few nights now - talking to the baby once he believed that Liam had been asleep. Of course, Liam wasn't asleep, and he had to keep his heartbeat as steady as possible, as he cooed at this big, bad evil chimera fucking baby - talking and singing little lullabies to his belly.

Which has grown quite a bit now.

Which is why, maybe a week after they'd got the apartment, Liam had set up a meeting with Mrs Martin, and dragged Theo's ass along with him to explain their situation. Obviously, Mrs Martin wouldn't let Liam completely drop his studies, and so he had to do them all online. Luckily, by that point they had an internet connection. Provided by Liam's awesome boyfriend.

She did ask a lot of questions, though. Like, why are you dropping out? Why were you kicked out? Liam didn't know how to answer them, and he didn't even hear the excuse Theo gave her, either. But whatever he said had worked, so that was something.

Liam hasn't had a single call off of either of his parents. He didn't know whether to feel sad about it, or happy that they were out of his life, after showing their true colours. It didn't mean that it didn't hurt any less, though. Many nights were spent crying in the bathroom, trying not to alert Theo of his quiet sobs, as he thought back on all the times he'd spent with his family.

He felt lucky, though. At least Liam had people around him that were there for him. Mason and Corey even helped with a few things; the old couch that Mason's mom was going to throw out, some blinds and a few old rugs from Corey. Liam was so grateful to have such amazing friends.

Liam's phone line was also switched, because his parents had apparently turned it off. Liam went to Theo, sobbing, spewing snot everywhere and getting it all over Theo's shirt, and immediately Theo thought the worst. Imagine the look on his face, when Liam said that this was all over a fucking phone.

Theo was still working a lot, busting his ass off and flirting with random customers for some extra cash. He'd told Liam that was how he got such good money himself. Liam wasn't too mad, he did break Theo's nose, and his finger. But Liam knew that Theo only loved him, so he didn't mind it too much.

Right now, Mason and Corey were over. They were all sat on the couch playing some random - ass game, in front of the tv that they definitely didn't steal.

Okay, so technically, Liam owned it. His parents bought it, but they gave it to Liam, so therefore, Liam owned it. Theo just hopped through the bedroom window and stole it back, along with some other things he thought would look nice in their apartment.

"Damnit!" Mason cried out and dropped his controller, sulking back against Corey.

Liam smiled, victorious once more "Who's next?" he grinned.

"I think we should take a break." Corey suggested.

They'd been there a couple of hours, since school finished. It wasn't uncommon for them to drop by after school now, and Liam enjoyed the company, especially since Theo was usually at work. He'd be home soon, though, early shift today.
