"Liam, you look fine." Theo said as he watched Liam straighten out his jumper once again."I look fat." Liam spat, continuing to adjust his jumper, and never being happy with the result.
"You're not fat." Theo sighed.
"Yes, I am." Liam grumbled with a frown on his face "People are gonna stare at me."
"Remember what Deaton said? Your metabolism won't allow you to gain any extra weight, and if anyone stares at you, I'll skin them." Theo turned his head, giving Liam a small smile, then turned his attention back onto the road.
They were currently on their way to see Liam's mom, and Liam was slightly freaking out about it, so was Theo to be fair. Neither of them knew why, after so much time had passed, she decided to contact Liam.
Liam wasn't too happy about being outside, either. He'd became a bit of a hermit ever since he started showing, believing everyone would be looking in his direction, when in reality, probably no one would even take notice of him.
On top of that, the sickness was still very much there, and some days Liam could barely move, without wanting to spew vomit over every surface in sight. So being in a moving vehicle was definitely doing things to his body.
"We're here." Theo stated, getting out before Liam could change his mind. Theo was curious about what Liam's mom wanted to say, and if anything were to go wrong, well, she wouldn't be a problem anymore. Let's just say that. He's joking, Theo will just drag Liam's ass outta there.
Liam growled slightly, even his eyes glinted yellow, so annoyed that Theo had just gotten out and walked off - no, not really, Theo was literally just outside the truck - whilst Liam was panicking.
He got out after Theo a minute later, mood instantly shifting as he stared at all the people inside the café. Liam clung to Theo. His emotional support chimera.
"You'll be fine, if she says something we'll just leave." Theo whispered in his ear.
Liam nodded, then Theo guided Liam inside of the building, fully expecting Liam to run off if he hadn't.
"Hey Theo!" Liam turned towards the voice, and was filled with anger.
Walking over to them was a beautiful young woman, maybe slightly older than Liam. She had dirty blonde hair tied back into a neat ponytail, dark blue eyes, sharp and cat - like, a button nose and full lips.
"Hey, Charlotte." Theo smiled as he spoke, Liam hated it.
"You're not working today, are you?" she said, her tone slightly flirty as she batted her eyelashes at him.
"No, I'm here with my boyfriend." yes, bitch. this murder daddy is taken. back the fuck off.
She looked at Liam who was stood beside Theo, and narrowed her eyes at him for a second, judging him. Liam wasn't intimidated, if she wants to fight, then he'll fucking fight!
"Ah, well. I'll let you two get back to your date." Charlotte spat the last word out, giving them a fake smile, and walking away.
"I don't like her." Liam confessed as soon as she was out of ear - shot.
"Neither do I." Theo sighed, taking Liam towards one of the tables, after realising that Liam's mom wasn't here yet "But if I'm not nice, I'll lose the job."
Liam nodded and looked down, not wanting to continue further just yet, Theo took a seat next to him, brushing their legs up against each other.
"Drink?" Theo asked.
