Since then, Theo and Liam yet again seemed to be inseparable, and Mason was happy about it, finally able to stop worrying so much about his best friend. Mason did notice some things, though, changes in Liam.

Lacrosse practice was the first, he'd dropped out of it, for now. Liam had told Mason, that he would be back to being captain soon, most likely after Christmas break, but for now, Nolan would be filling that spot on the team solo. Obviously, it confused Mason. As long as he's known Liam, Liam has always been sporty, always been in love with lacrosse, so for him to drop it so suddenly, it was very strange.

Mason tried to push Liam to tell him his reasonings, but Liam stayed stubborn, as per usual, and didn't let on at anything that was going on, confusing Mason further. Mason was always the one Liam told, whenever something big happened, and by the looks of it, it was definitely a big thing happening in Liam's life.

He didn't push any further, though, knowing Liam would most likely let his anger overrule him, if he did so. So instead, he turned to his wonderful, amazing, absolutely handsome, invisible boyfriend, Corey, to rant about his best friend.

"I don't know what's going on with Liam, he's hiding something." Mason spoke.

"Theo too, he's been babying Liam for the past week, I've never seen him do that before." Corey added.

"Do you think they're finally dating?" Mason suggested.

Corey took a second to think, looking at the pair of idiots across the way, before turning back to Mason.

"No, I think Liam would be bragging if they were. They seem closer, for sure, but I don't think that's it."

And Corey was right, Mason took a look over at them, all happy and smiles, it made him happy too, obviously. To see his best friend laughing and giggling with his crush, it's bound to make Mason happy, but there was something they were both hiding, and Mason was eager to find out, almost like an itch, one he needed to scratch before he could finally settle down and go back to living his life.

"Liam, stop being a brat and eat the damn vegetables!" Theo yelled.

Theo had cooked dinner for a stubborn Liam, after hearing that all he'd eaten was junk food all week, and, being the concerned father - to - be that he was, decided to go round and cook for the annoying little shit.

"You can't make me, plus, if I throw up, you'll be the one cleaning it!" Liam shot back and threw one of the broccoli sticks at Theo's head.

Liam laughed, fucking laughed, full on belly laugh, throwing his head back like a manic, when the little tree hit Theo on the forehead, and bounced off, landing on the floor. This damn werewolf was testing his nerves.

"Liam, eat the damn food, please." Theo lowered his voice.

Liam looked up at him, completely entranced by that voice, that fucking voice. Also, the fact that Theo used manners definitely helped, they were a sexy addition to his murder husband.

What?

Did I really just think that?

Liam blushed, heart pumping, and he tried to calm it, before the stupid science experiment across from him noticed. Instead, he focused on eating the vegetables laid out in front of him, not really paying much attention to much of the taste, rather just focusing on staying calm and not jumping his baby daddy.

"Thank fuck." Theo breathed out, as he watched Liam stuff the veggies and bits of chicken into his mouth.

The chicken was hidden beneath the layer of veggies, Theo had hoped it would be some sort of motive to get a certain angry werewolf to finish his plate. It seemed to be working, Liam didn't have enough braincells to push the vegetables to one side, and just eat the meat anyways. If he did, Theo was certain the junk food obsessed goblin would have picked the chicken bits out, thrown the veggie filled plate at the wall, and ordered Chinese or some other greasy fast food.
