Liam sat on a chair, watching Theo painting the baby's room after finally getting the paint. To be fair, Liam did struggle finding the perfect colour, he wanted it to be gender - neutral, like the rest of the baby's room. That, and he'd also forgotten to look when Theo had originally suggested it, but let's just ignore that part.

Liam ended up going with a pretty pale yellow, he thought it would look nice with the oak floors and white curtains they had gotten. It was finally all starting to come together, and wasn't all completely last minute, like Theo was expecting to happen. Deaton told them they still had around 6 weeks of preparation before the arrival of their little coywolfwolf.

So far, the baby's room was pretty plain in Liam's eyes, it wasn't very decorated. He definitely wanted to get some more things, but decided he was too big to leave the house, and has asked Mason, Corey and his mom to pick up anything they see, that they thought was cute for them. Melissa even picked up a few things she thought both Liam and Theo would like.

Of course, they did like them. Once Theo was finished painting the walls - the walls Liam had tried to help with, but Theo refused to let him, resulting in a bit of blood loss from Theo - he was going to put up some shelves for some small decorations, like picture frames and a few of the bears Melissa had given to them.

Right now, their theme was mainly white and yellow, with that little bit of green from the blanket Liam had picked out early on. Pale yellow walls, white curtains, a big fluffy yellow rug, white crib with a green blanket. It seemed to be coming together well, and Liam was happy with how it was turning out. He was also very happy with the view.

"Can you stop staring at my ass?" Theo asked, not turning around. He could feel Liam's eyes following him, as he moved throughout the whole room. It was very distracting.

"No. I like your ass." Liam responded.

Theo let out a small laugh, finishing the last patch of wall and then turning to face Liam "We'll wait for this to dry, then I'll put the shelves up." he capped the paint bucket, carrying the paint roller and tray out to wash.

"Can I help with that?" Liam asked, getting up and following Theo out.

Theo dumped the tray and roller in the kitchen sink "You can wash that up, and maybe I'll let you hand me the screws." he chuckled.

Liam gave a slight grumble, but began washing the paint tray anyway. He hates doing normal chores, he wants to help with their coywolfwolf's room, for god's sake!

Once Liam was done with washing the tray, he turned to the roller, wondering how the fuck he was supposed to clean that thing. He gave it a go, scrubbing it over, before Theo made a reappearance, taking a peek over his shoulder.

"Just stand it up right and let the water do the work." Theo said.

"What?" Liam asked, frowning. What the fuck was he talking about?

Theo rolled his eyes, moving Liam out of the way and grabbing the roller "Like this." he simply stood the roller up under the running water, and Liam watched as the paint slowly left the brush "Just leave it running for a few minutes. Simple."

Liam rolled his eyes. Yeah, so simple, Theo. So damn simple. How the hell does Theo even know to do that? Man grew up in a fucking sewer, Liam's pretty sure the Dread Doctors didn't do much decorating.

"How long will the paint take to dry?" Liam asked, taking a seat next to Theo on the couch.

"Couple hours, maybe?"

Liam groaned, throwing his head to the back of the couch. He wanted to get the room done with now, he wanted to see it completed so badly.

"Patience is a virtue, Little Wolf." Theo chuckled, earning himself a slap on the arm.
