Reality was harsh so we would log on after dark,
And we would meet up after school at the library,
Just my brother and our friends, killing monsters with no end,
Catching fish out at the docks and gaining X.P.,
We would chop the forrest clean and than we'd do it all again,
We would catch all of the fish that we could carry,
And we would venture into caves, dig up nightmares from their graves,
We would laugh and joke while making lots of money,
In this world we are the rich, we are the strong we are the quick,
There was no beast or demon there that could've stopped us,
We made some friends we've never met, ones that genuinely connect,
And some enemies who'd rather see us dead,
We went on quests that took us days, and when it rained on our parade,
We would telly back to home in front of Lummy,
I safely say these were the days, not a worry on my face,
When I search for an escape, it's where I'm running,
It's just a game, to some we play, but in a different type of way,
This is a life that many of us wanted,
Just to adventure with your friends in a world that never ends,
Go on journeys where you're hunting til your hunted,
From the islands to the ships, every mossy covered cliff,
From underground, up to the very surface,
Every dragon, every imp, in the dungeons that they're kept,
I would play it all again and it'd be worth it.
