They say jobs pay you for your time but do they pay you what you're worth?

Yeah they'll pay you for each hour but not by how hard you work,

Would they pay you if you're sick or injured, what if you got hurt?

Would they help you foot the bill? Or do they not give out insurance?

Do they care about your happiness? Do they give you vacation days?

Your lease is up and you got kicked, would they find you a place to stay?

Your life is dedicated to a job that doesn't care about you,

It might have it perks but it's not worth all the financial struggles,

Don't just stick around for years because it's what your use to,

Hard working employees get abused to and that'll make you lose YOU,

Opportunity is knocking, you just have to let it in,

Don't trade the unknown for the known that your in,

Search for something better cause it's out there I can promise you,

Don't shy away from new beginnings, I know it's uncomfortable,

Fight that fear inside your brain, ignore all of the what ifs,

And go and chase those dreams you had when you where just a young kid.
