Chapter 11

~ Ava's pov ~

I slipped on my pink pumps and called to Joe.

"JOEEEEEE! I'M LEAVING, I'LL SEE YOU LATER!"

I waited for about 15 seconds before hearing a faint reply.

"Hang on, I'm coming up!"

I heard Joe running up the stairs and I started to laugh.

"What's so funny?" he said.

"You didn't need to run, Joe." And I kissed him on the cheek. "I'll see you later."

"Do you want me to walk you there?"

"No I'll be okay."

Joe kissed me on the nose. "So your coming back here after?"

"Sure...Joe I really have to go now, please let go of me." He had grabbed hold of my hand and wasn't letting it go.

"Oh, sorry. I guess I'm nervous about you leaving. What if something happens to you?"

"Aw, Joe that's so sweet. Nothing will happen to me." I giggled.

"Okay, I'll see you later."

"Byeeeee!" I walked down the hall, waved at Joe and disappeared from sight. I felt bad for lying. I didn't know if anything was going to happen to me...

~ Joe's pov ~

I waited a few minutes, then rushed downstairs to grab my white converse. I needed to hurry up, but I had to let Ava get far enough away so that she wouldn't see me following her. I picked up my wallet, keys and oyster card and shoved them in my jeans pocket. I would need a jumper so I just rushed upstairs, snatched a white hoodie that was lying on the sofa, and hurried out the door, slamming it behind me.

By the time I had got out the house, Ava had just gone out of sight round the corner. Regent's Park was only a 15 minute walk, I could get there easily. The only thing that could slow me down were my subscribers. I loved meeting them, but I needed to hurry.
Luckily I only got stopped three times, and I didn't lose sight of Ava.

Finally, I arrived at Regent's Park and saw Ava walk towards the lake in the middle of the park.

~ Ava's pov ~

I checked my phone and saw I had a text from Sean.

MESSAGE RECIEVED FROM: Sean

"Where are you? You better be here alone or you now what will happen..."

I didn't know where Sean was, so I started looking around frantically, scared that he was going to take me by surprise.

MESSAGE SENT TO: Sean

"I don't know where you are. Don't do anything stupid...please?"

Suddenly I felt arms wrapping around my waist, and I was whirled around, my legs flying. My shoe flew off, bounced off a tree and ended up on the grass in front of me. I turned to look behind me to see Sean grinning at me.

"So you came? Scared of what would have happened if you didn't come?" he taunted.

"Shut up, Sean. What do you want?"

"I would cut the attitude missy, you never know what I could do if you don't do what I say."

Honestly, Sean scared me, but I tried not to show it. I didn't know what he would do, but I knew him well enough to know that he was dangerous.

"Look Sean, I..."

I stopped mid sentence and looked behind Sean's head. I saw a boy with dirty blonde hair that looked a lot like...

"Joe? What are you doing here?"

Omg I'm so unhappy with this chapter, I just wanted to get something up for you all, so I apologise if its terrible💖

It's 6:30 in the UK and I haven't slept all night 😭 ughhhhh even this comment at the end is awful. It doesn't flow, do ya know what I meannnn?
