Chapter 4

I woke up to a text from Joe. Smiling, I opened it.
"Mornin sleepyhead! Be over soon? Jx"
I replied with,
"Okay, lemmie just get up first :D c:"
I hopped out of bed as quickly as I could and got dressed. I decided on a checkered skater skirt and a black crop top with cat whiskers on it.

*JOE'S POV and 10 minutes later*

"JOE! Ava's here!!" Dad shouted.
"Just a minute!" I yelled back. I sprayed even more hairspray in my hair. I wanted it to look decent for Ava.
When I finally got downstairs, Ava was chatting with Zoe like they were best friends.
"Hey A" I said, startling Ava, with my hands on her shoulders.
"God Joe, you made me jump!" she whined. Ugh, she's so cute.
"Sorry" I winked at her as Zoe rolled her eyes.
"Behave Joseph!" she said. "Me and Dad are going to meet Alfie, so will you guys be fine here?"
"Yeah sure" Ava said, smiling.
"Good, have fun! Byee!!"

*AVA'S POV*

"So what movies did ya bring?" Joe asks, sitting down on his sofa.
"I bought Frozen.."
"Ugh"
"Dumbo"
"Gross"
"The Hunger Games?!"
"YES!" shouted Joe, clapping his hands together. "My favourite!"
I smiled at him. He was like a little puppy. Excited easily, and super cute.

I woke up hearing Joe's voice.
"Ava, Avaa..."
"Mmmm?" I mumbled, still half asleep.
"You fell asleep, it's 10 minutes past six."
"WHAT?!"
I jumped up and looked down at Joe.
"Where did I sleep?"
"On my lap" Joe grinned. "You almost fell off the sofa."
"Oh godddd" I groaned.
"What's wrong?" Joe asked, grabbing my hand and pulling me back down on the sofa. "You seem upset"
I shook my head and smiled at him.
"No, i'm not. Isn't Zoe back yet?"
"No, she and dad are staying with Alfie tonight. We're alone"
He got up and walked into the kitchen.
"You hungry?"
"Yeah, kinda."
"Wanna go to Nandos or something? I don't know how to cook." he blushed. So cute.
"Don't worry, I can cook"
"Awesome!"
I opened some cupboards and found some pasta sauce.
"Wanna have pasta?" I asked
"Whatever you want, Ava" he said, handing me a packet.
*10 minutes later*
"Ooh Ava that looks great!" Joe said over my shoulder. I could feel his hot breath against my neck.
"Ava.." he whispered. "I was wondering.."
Suddenly we heard a key turn in the door and Zoe, her dad and a tall man with brown hair walked in. Joe sprang back and pretended to be busy tweeting.
"Hey guys we're back!" Zoe sang. "Ava, shouldn't Joe be making dinner?"
"No, he said he didn't know how to cook. So I offered! I'm afraid that i've only made food for two as Joe said you would be staying with someone called Alfie."
"Ah! You just reminded me! Ava, this is Alfie, my boyfriend!"
Alfie walked towards me and shook my hand.
"Good to meet you, Ava. Zoe said that you and Joe were hanging out today."
