"Sing my precious little golden bird, sing! I have hung my golden slipper around your neck."

Nick and Hank are at the prescient, and Nick asks if he's needed for the weekend. Hank tells him that he isn't and Nick sighs in relief, since he's now free. Asking if Juliette will say no, Hank responds that she won't to a romantic weekend. Nick pulls out the ring and Hank finally realizes what he meant. Pulling out a brochure of where he's taking Juliette and hands it to him. "Whispering Pines, have fun".

Next to the Whispering Pines welcome sign, Robin Steinkellner is on her phone. Asking the man on the other end when he will pick her up. He tells her that his car broke down and is currently waiting for a tow. He says he'll be ready tomorrow, and Robin heads home. Arriving back home, she enters looking to see if anyone else is home. Turning around her husband, Tim Steinkellner is standing there. Upset, he asks her why she was outside. Claiming she wanted fresh air, they both woge into their Wesen forms. Telling her it's time to eat, Tim takes her inside. Robin isn't hungry, but Tim makes her a shake out of worms, yogurt with broccoli and milk.

Back at the station, Hank is looking up info on Adalind Schade. He looks intently at her pictures and pulls up a map of the location of her apartment. Wu walks in and asks Hank if he has any weekend plans. Hank says he does not have any plans and asks if Wu does. Wu says he plans to sit on his couch with his cat Samson and watch "The Apprentice" while eating. Wu then proceeds to take a paperclip out of its cup and eat it.

Nick and Juliette are driving on a narrow rural road, passing a sign reading "Whispering Pines". Unable to locate the road which leads to their cabin, Nick stops at a red farmhouse. Asking the man inside where the road is, the man claims a drunk driver knocked down the sign a week ago. Inside the car, Juliette notices a sad woman looking out the window and finds it unsettling. Nick hears something fall in the house, then Tim Steinkellner yells at Robin, Nick sees him woge into an alley cat.

Later on, Juliette sees Robin struggling with Tim outside. After Tim forcibly takes Robin inside, and she calls Nick over. To satisfy Juliette, Nick calls the local sheriff to report a domestic disturbance. The sheriff arrives, and goes inside the house. Coming back outside, he doesn't arrest Tim and gets into his car and leaves. Juliette is devastated and wonders why he didn't arrest him. Juliette comments how trouble seems to find them, making Nick have multiple flashbacks with Oleg Stark and Ariel Eberhart holding Juliette captive. Juliette asks about the situations, and Nick has no answer.

Since Robin won't voluntarily eat her health shake, Tim claims to have no choice but to strap her into a chair. He then proceeds to force a feeding tube into her mouth and puts food in the other end. He turns it on and the crankshaft starts pushing the food into the tube. Sheriff Munson arrives just as Tim is in the middle of feeding Robin.

Back in Portland, Hank is becoming more and more obsessed with Adalind. He goes as far as spying on her apartment. Testing whether or not she will answer his call, he calls her, watching through the window as Adalind recognizes the number but refuses to answer it. Just then, another man, Peter, walks up to Adalind's apartment and kisses her. He then goes inside the house and they both go into another room. After waiting for the man to leave, Hank puts him at gunpoint threatening him never to come back. The clearly angry man gets into his car and drives away. The man begins talking to Renard in a car, so this was clearly planned by Renard.

Nick quietly calls Monroe late at night so Juliette won't hear. Monroe a bit surprised and annoyed that Nick would call him at 2:30 am. Describing what Tim looked like when woged, Nick said that he is not a lion nor a tiger but is not like a house cat, he's somewhere in-between. Monroe understands from the description that he is a Klaustreich. They are total jerks, but women love them. He then tells Nick that Molly, Monroe's girlfriend in high school, left Monroe for a Klaustreich. The Klaustreich got her pregnant and she had his "litter" at prom. Her parents were upset and they got the police involved. As a parting gift the Klaustreich gave Molly a slash on the face. The police didn't catch him, but Monroe says somebody did.
