Willow dreaded going back to school. It wasn't like she hated it, but she had to admit, she hated it. Specifically, Boscha.
They weren't even in the same track and Willow could feel Boscha breathing down her neck. "How's it going today? Pick up your food from the dumpster yet?" Titan, white girls that think they can diss someone were so annoying.
Sometimes it did hurt though. Like when Boscha would say "hey, Willow, maybe if you were half as decent at programming as you are at losing friends, you could actually pass this year without changing tracks"
Willow scoffed, ignoring Boscha's comment as she continued to walk through the park
"Don't walk away from me, half-a-witch" Boscha spat. Willow didn't notice it but Boscha grabbed a trash can and dumped all its contents on her.
Willow groaned, falling to her knees at the impact while Boscha seemed proud of her work, prancing around Willow with a smirk.
"Hey, back off!" Willow heard someone shout. Willow turned to the originator of the voice. There Luz stood, hands on hips, strong.
"Or what?" Boscha replied
"I don't want to fight you, Boscha," Luz walked to help Willow up, removing some of the stuff that had stuck to her clothes "just back off"
"Please, like you can tell me what to do"
"How about this," Luz started "I heard you're captain of the grudgby team"
"Yeah, What about it?" Boscha scoffed
"At the end of the day, if our team beats you, you stop bullying Willow, if you win..."
"I make you my own personal servants" Boscha smirked
"Deal" They shook on it, but Boscha wipes her hand in her jacket soon after, her face cringing before she left.
Gus approached after watching the whole interaction from a close distance. Hands in his pockets, he said "I do not want to become Boscha's servant"
"You don't have to do this with us, Gus" Luz said
"You guys are my friends. I'm doing this" Gus smiled
Willow, despite appreciating her friends's sentiment, she wasn't ok with her friends being involved in her mess. Sighing and barely looking at the both of them, she said "forget it. We aren't enough to make a team"
She was walking away, leaving her friends shocked and hurting for her. They glanced at each other before jogging towards her before she got too far. "We can still help" Luz urged
"No, I don't think you can" Willow increased her pace
"Willow" Luz whined. Titan, curse Willow and her fast walk. "Jeez man, why are you so fast" Luz gasped "Willow, listen. I want to help, I will help...if you let me"
Willow stopped, turning to face Luz who almost fell at her sudden stop. "What if it doesn't work?"
"I'll still be there to help you. I swear on the Titan" Luz, still out of breath, smiled. "Wow, I need exercise"
Willow chuckled, shaking her head. "Fine,' she sighed. "But we need a ton of practice"
"What's this I hear about a grudgby challenge?" Amity approached, books in hand
"Word travels fast, huh?" Luz scratched the back of her head, chuckling, nervous.
"It's Hexside" Amity shrugged. Amity didn't explain what she meant but Luz took her word for it. "Seriously though, it's already grudgby season—Boscha's always extra bitchy this time. Which means you have to work three times as hard"
