Dr. Draghisecu spent the rest of the night listening to audio on Mary Shelly's Frankenstein but finished with thinking that this Victor probably hadn't read the book so there were no real clues to be gleaned. It would be back to the drawing board of sorts. It had been too long since some kind of a killing had occurred. Perhaps Jac got caught doing another crime and so is unable to commit another homicide. Of course, he wasn't a vampire in that case. Stick to logic with the world and try to ignore the anomaly called All Father of the vampires, even though he now hates all his children. Well except Seras and that was a rough relationship to be in.

Meanwhile the Eldritch abomination was bored and well he was bored to near death. Alucard planned to sneak up to Lana's bedroom later as he was pretty sure the insomnia from a new round of nightmares was doable any time now. Maybe a 'friendly' I want to be your boyfriend call was in order?

When you're a distant relative of Kazikli bey and you have terrible luck that seems to run in his family, which is kinda hers?

Back up the stairs, Liliana kept glancing at her large, made bed and cringed. She really didn't even want to try and go to bed. Yet Dr. Sims would insist that she at least try and Lana didn't want to take any higher doses of her current medication. So the ol hot shower and a movie trick was going to be tried. The boring movie choice was The Sound of Music. How can anyone have nightmares with that playing in the background?

The young profiler dried off and put some cami pajamas on so her long lost distant cousin would get a peek when he decided to invade her personal living space. Nothing like undead barbarians at the gate and you in nothing but you and well you. How strange her life had taken a turn. The very man she did her thesis statement on was walking around still and it kinda proved a lot of her information was no longer true. Yet the rest of the world didn't know but it bugged Liliana at how many errors she had now in that statement. Maybe someday when she wasn't being dragged around the countryside after serial killers, she would rewrite the thesis statement just for her obsessed peace of mind.

Slowly Liliana faded off to a deep sleep with the last sight the supposed mountain near Salzburg Austria. Her subconscious mind thought that maybe that's what the mountains looked in...Romania or technically Wallachia and where her first life was lived. So long lost shared memories began to become the dream currently...

Vlada was now always in sight of her third cousin Vlad. His advisors on all matters of state stopped telling him to not include her in meetings. The female cousin seemed to be one family member that Vlad the Impaler now trusted and if she heard anything about a conspiracy against him, Vlad heard of it in a timely fashion. Or perhaps because she was a virtuous young maiden. At any rate, there was no way to buy her silence or improve her finances, as Miss Draghicescu was known well before, as being unmoved by money.

That was probably why Vlada got a small piece of trust from her third cousin Vlad. The court was trying quite hard to push the Viovode to arrange a marriage to Stoica and Liliana, so he would then marry a young, beautiful noble with Hungarian roots, to be his wife. Her name was Elisabeta and she had a crush on Vlad, but wouldn't approach the Prince due to Vlada.

So on a hot summer day, Vlada wanted to go for a horseback ride and hoped that Vlad couldn't join her. He actually stopped all advisors and appointments, saying that even the Prince of Wallachia had a right to step away from state business for a nice summer day. So Vlada stood in the great hall by the doors and waited for her third cousin, Vlad III Draculea to storm out towards the stable. She was dressed in pants and a leather jerkin with a short arming sword on her waist, small buckler shield on her back and a falcon sitting on her wrist.

Then the tell tale stomp of leather and metal boots could be heard. Vlada knew the pattern of the sound to know that Vlad was on his way in a rush. When he burst into view she began to bow. HIs left hand shot out and grabbed her upper right arm. "We do not have time for all the formalities. I want the hell out of here before I start impaling stupid people, Vlada."

"My kin and Lord, the horses are ready for our departure for part of this afternoon..." she responded to him and walked quickly, in his hard grasp.

You got free of Viovode when he chose to so don't fight the man, it just made him angrier and your death more painful.

"My Prince, where are we going, if I may ask?" Vlada spoke quietly to him.

"My dear Vlada, you will see and it will be for a night..."

Vlada shook her head slightly,"You need to bring men, not a woman pretending to be a boy."

"I have seen how you fight now with a sword and shield. You are a natural, just you got given tits instead of a dick. I can overlook that even if my advisors cannot. You are a hella of alot better to look at, especially those nice pink lips of yours."

"You're crude and cheating at the same moment my Lord," she smirked. "I am unable to defend my honor and punch you in that handsome but arrogant face."

"Exactly! One of these days, probably at our wedding I will have to thank your brother personally for teaching you to hit like a boy and not slap like a girl."he laughed out heartily.

"The only time you would like me to give you a slap is in your wet dreams and it's your ass I am slapping..."

Six months ago Vlada would have been horrified to say such things to her kin and Lord but time tends to have a period of growing up fast and hard. The advisors had come to her, about Lord Cornel Stoica and how a marriage to the nobleman would help relations with Hungary. Vlad didn't see it that way, but as only to leave a crack vulnerability for poison and cheap shots at being assassinated.

No, today was going to be the day Vlad would declare his love and intentions to marry her. Any woman can bear him a son but trust is hard to have among many. And if he put a baby in her belly, the Viovode of Wallachia would have both. His life was headed in the right direction as he saw it.

Just to know, your Highness, that we have broken the peace with the Turks, not for any benefit of ours, but for the honor of your Highness and the Holy Crown of your Majesty and for the preservation of the whole of Christendom and for the strengthening of Catholic law.” ~Vlad the Impaler
