With a long sigh, "What now Alucard?"

" You are unable to work on this case, why?"

"I was personally addressed so I am no longer a third party. If anything goes wrong, the legal system can release the killers and there would be no trial. The killers would walk free," Lana said.

"Your hu...legal system is flawed," the vampire growled.

"Yes, it is, you shouldn't be walking around free either, but you serve a purpose, I just don't know why. If it needs to be a secret then I accept," Lana shrugged her shoulders.

"I need to get you back to Hellsing. Perhaps, the book page, will give you something to work on," Alucard smirked. He could now find out what he had missed.

Scott saw Alucard coming down a wrought iron ladder, with Lana waiting for the vampire, to get down completely. Alucard stepped away and tilted his head. The profiler turned, placed her feet on the sides of the ladder and slid down it, as fast as she could hold on. Lana hadn't quite gauged her speed and landed, to only start to topple over. The vampire stepped forward and she came to rest against his chest.

"Vlada what are trying to do?" Alucard sighed.

"I'm a teenager, my brain hasn't completely re-wired, so I do stupid thrill seeking..."

Scott coughed, "Get with the times Alucard. Teenagers are insane as their brains are literally reprogramming. The frontal lobe is the first and so no impulse control."

"Well in my time, war and famine tended to solve that problem," the vampire replied flatly.

"What? How old are you?" Liliana asked with confusion.

" Older than you think...I happen to age well profiler."

Scott pointed to a squad car but then Lana was unsure where to sit. "Whose riding shotgun?"

"I am my dear..." Alucard smiled.

"But I'm not a criminal..."

"Vlada you may have them fooled but not me. You have all the markings of a brilliant and deadly criminal." Alucard had a serious face now.

"Whatever, sanctioned spree killer..."

Scott pulled into Hellsing and whistled. "Nice place you reside at, Alucard but then you're used to fancy places, like castles."

"You two are like talking in code! What the hell!" Lana growled out tiredly.

"In due time Vlada, in due time..."

"Just unlock the door and let me out. I'm done with you two for the night.,"

The two men watched her stomp away. Scott said, "Never thought I would say this, to an undead monster, but thank you for finding her safe."

"That must have been quite hard to say," Alucard flashed a toothy grin.

Scott glared at him then got back in the police car. "Tell Liliana I will call if I need to."

"Just make sure it's not 'wanted' to," Alucard threatened with a toothy grin.

The young profiler sat down in her office and stared at the files. They needed to all come down and return to Scotland Yard. She opened the manila folder and looked at the page. It was the page, that spoke about his first appearance, in London just off the ship.

Liliana put gloves on so she could read it front and back. Then she studied the page numbers for a clue. Next was a desk light to see any marks. The final attempt was a blacklight flashlight.
