I hoped that note would satisfy James whilst I was gone. Hopefully he would believe it for a short while.

"This is the gymnasium. It isn't anything like the one at home but it'll do." Joel had insisted I showed him what it was like to be upper class and I obliged.

"My goodness! You really get it good up here don't you?" He said, marvelling at the stand-still bikes and punching bags.

The gymnasium was supplied with an abundance of equipment ranging from work out equipment to an electric horse but there was something in the corner that seemed to have caught Joel's eye. I had never been inside the gymnasium before but James and the fellow male first class passengers had. Filled with curiosity, I skeptically walked over to Joel to see what had caught his interest.

"What is it, Joel?" I asked, he had his back turned to be and he quickly darted around, Épée pointed at my neck.

"It's a fencing sword. We should have a battle." Joel raised an eyebrow whilst lowering the sword. He had frightened me quite a lot by doing that.

"I couldn't possibly. You know James would freak ou-."

"Well, I don't see James. Do you?" Joel scanned the gymnasium with his eyes and so did I. Not only was James not there, no one was.

"I guess you are right. Sure, why not!" There were two fencing outfits conveniently hung up on two hooks so I took the smallest outfit and quickly slid it over my clothes. I also tucked my hair into the mask that Joel gently eased down my head.

"In all truthfulness, I've never fenced in my life." I laughed nervously, pointing my sword at Joel who had also dressed in his fencing outfit.

"Me neither. Just try, you might like it." Joel's voice was muffled but I could just about make out what he was saying. I gave a quick nod and charged ruthlessly towards Joel. Reacting quickly, he collided his own Épée into mine to stop me from hitting him. I managed to back him into a corner but he ducked before I could do any damage. The tips of our swords tapped several times as Joel backed me into the opposite corner. I had to think quickly so I dived between his legs and crawled out.

"Hey! Where do you think you're going?"

Laughter filled the whole gymnasium as we continued our epic battle until we heard a voice outside the gymnasium.

"I don't care just find her. There's only so many places she could be." The familiar voice bellowed. It was James.

"We need to go, now." I grabbed the tip of Joel's sword and his hand with the other but before we could leave a red faced James entered. I was about to stab James in the abdomen with my sword and try to make a quick getaway but I soon realised something. He couldn't see who we were under the mask.

"Absolutely fucking ridiculous." James muttered under his breath. My heart froze with fear. Sooner or later he would find out it was us.

"Just keep going." Joel whispered, squeezing my hand tightly before letting go and raising his sword up. In return, I raised up mine and we continued a calmer version of our battle.

"Good work gentlemen. Do you practice?" James asked up, approaching Joel. I gulped thickly and stared at Joel to say something.

"Uhhhh. Yes. We do." Joel said while resting a hand on his hip. James tilted his head as looked as if he had just eaten a sour lemon. He looked as if that answer wasn't sufficient enough.

"And how about you?" James added, getting up in my personal space. I presumed that he was trying to see under the mask so I turned to the side. I could smell the unpleasant musk and sweat very well from being this close to him.

"I do. Back at home we have a fencing arena bigger than a tennis court." I mustered up the courage to reply in my most manly voice. That seemed to satisfy James because he backed off but not without another thing.

"Ah yes, I almost forgot. You haven't happened to see a light haired woman around here have you? She could've been with a 3rd class man." James raised an eyebrow as if he was interrogating us. I shat myself well and truly.

"I haven't but I'll be sure to keep an eye out for your daughter." Joel said, I could spot his smirk from underneath his mask. I was too terrified to smile.

"Daughter? I say! She is my fiancé." James growled angrily like an animal. He was really frightening me so I tugged Joel's arm discreetly to leave.

"Ah, very sorry. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for your.. fiancé." He said almost gagging at the last word.

"Come on Terrance. Let's go get changed." Joel took my hand and we quickly walked towards the changing rooms....

Out of the blue, my hair started to untuck from the mask of the suit and my wild hair was free for James to see. A second look was all it took.

"ISOBEL? IM GONNA KILL YOU."
