1:30am
The second we reached boat deck, I felt an array of eyes burning my skin like lasers. The firs class men were staring at me like they wanted me dead. I figured James must've talked shit about me to them.
"Let's find a boat." Joel and I scanned the boat deck, however, there was none in sight. We did a whole lap around the deck of Titanic but there wasn't any sign of them.
"Oh dear. This isn't good."
My throat felt like it was closing up as I wheezed for air. I felt my heart sink in my chest as I realised. We were going to die. Choked sobs managed to escape my tightened throat. I wasn't ready to die. I was entrapped in a fog of guilt that begun to swallow me whole. Why didn't I get on a life boat? Why didn't I save Joel earlier? My thoughts thickened the abysmal fog and almost swallowed me up until Joel snapped me out of it.He grasped me by the shoulders, gripping tightly as if he would never let go. His oceanic eyes glimmered with the love and determination to survive. He was my true love.
"Don't cry. It's okay. We're gonna find a way out. Don't give up yet. If I can promise you one thing, we are getting out of this alive."
I nodded as he gently wiped the falling tears that rolled down my powdered cheeks.
"You're right. Let's go." I intertwined my fingers with Joel and turned to the right to be face to face with an ogre.
A red, furious face glowed brighter than a fresh tomato picked on an autumn afternoon. His eyes glowed an emerald colour with the embers of jealously and rage. Jealously was the green eyed monster that he felt.
"Isobel. Step away from Joel. You don't belong to him you belong to me." He ordered in a furious tone. I shook my head.
"No!" I replied, finally standing up for myself.
That's when I heard a laugh, not a laugh of joy or happiness, no, it sounded like it came from a pure sadist.
"No? That's too bad. If I can't have you. No one can." James whipped out a gun from his blazer and fired a bullet towards me. Joel, reacting quickly, pushed me out of the way and was evidently hit. As we both fell to the floor, I shrieked. He had been shot in his leg.
"JOEL!" I screamed, dragging him upright.
"You are sickening!" James shot again but completely missed. We were sent into a fit of panic and when I managed to haul Joel upright, we ran like headless chickens.

E deck
Fleeing, the two of us raced down 4 flights of stairs ; as James fired more and more bullets at us. Thankfully, his aim was horrific so he didn't hit us again. He managed to chase us down to E deck before he finally gave up.
