E Deck
The ding of the elevator echoed through the empty halls as the lift lowered to E deck. A flood of crystal, clear water flowed into the lift and sent a shock of searingly cold pain throughout my feet. I gasped in pain but was determined to find my true love.

My heart pounded as I gripped tightly onto my dress to keep from getting it wet. The pain was excruciating but I needed to keep going. Down the hall, I heard a inconspicuous voice that I hoped belonged to Joel. I rushed through the water, the icy substance splashing up my legs.

"JOEL? IS THAT YOU?" I shouted desperately. No reply. "JOEL PLEASE!" My eyes started to become watery as I trenched through the freezing water like it was a bog filled with toxic substances. My voice croaked just like a frog. "Joel?" My voice became quieter as I started to loose hope. He was dead. He had drowned by now. I simply knew it. I should've punched James in the face earlier.

"HELP!" The voice bounced off the walls, travelling closer to me each millisecond. Not just any voice. It had a recognisable twang. It was.. AMERICAN!

"JOEL!" My heart fluttered with a mix of happiness and excitement. I began to rush down the hallway until I heard another voice.

"Shut it you. Or I'll shoot." A man's voice boomed as he started to pace the room. I quickly hid myself from view and peeked around the corner. It seemed to be a middle aged man with a refined moustache and he held a gun in his hands. I knew I had to do something.

I snook out from the shadows and walked closer to the man. He swivelled around, he was still a few meters away from me, and his face washed over with confusion.

"What are you doing down here? Shouldn't you be on a life boat?" The man slowly closed the door behind him before I could do anything rash. However, as the door shut, I saw a glint of diamond blue sparkling. Joel.

"Oh.. well I was.. sent down here to uh. Satisfy your needs." I bit my lip, attempting to be enticing. The man seemed to be quite intrigued.

"Is that so?" The man started to approach me, dropping the gun in the water, it made a splash and cool water chilled my arms.

"Yeah. So why don't you come right over?" I struck a pose, flashing my emerald, mesmerising eyes at him. He didn't hesitate, the fat shit started jogging over but before he could wrap his arms around me, I head butted him straight in the jaw. The man reacted with a pained howl as I dove for the gun and pointed it at him with a shaky hand. It was partly from fear, partly from the pure freezing water.

The man stumbled backwards and fell into the water as he landed on his arse. I honestly thought it was getting pretty decent at the bad ass stuff until I heard a faint chuckle.

"You seriously think that gun is loaded?" The man's laughter grew louder until his cackling could be heard. I swallowed hard as I realised the gun was unloaded. I was in for it.

The man grunted angrily as he got up and pulled me to the ground. I hit the ground hard but was slightly cushioned from the rising water. It stung on my exposed skin and made me wince with pain.

"Stop." I started to crawl away from him but the man simply dragged me back. It really gave me a sense of how inferior I was.

"You're gonna pay now." The man grinned maliciously and my face started to flow with water and tears until the door burst wide open. I turned my head and there stood the most gorgeous man in existence.

His dark hair was damp and had a slight kink to it from the ocean water and his expression deepened as he realised what was happening.

"ISOBEL!" His voice shouted as he used his sheer strength to kick the man in the face. He scooped me up in his strong arms and dashed inside the room, picking up the gun too. He carefully put me down and begun to dash around the room. Closing the door behind us, he opened various cupboards clearly looking for something

"How did you get out? Didn't they lock you up? And what are you looking for?" Joel didn't look up.

"Broke the chain, yeah, bullets. I'm not letting that man live." His face was flushed and he glowed with red hot anger.

The door flung back open and the man was laying on the floor. Joel pointed the gun towards the man but I wasn't sure if he was going to do it.

"May I?" I asked. Joel stared at the gun then back at me before giving me a quick nod and handing the gun over.

I inhaled sharply, changed the angle of the gun and shot him in the leg.

"Making him suffer. I like it." Before I could reply, Joel picked me up and hugged me tightly in his arms. I even noticed his eyes were  rimmed with anticipated tears. He held me in his warm embrace for what felt like an hour. I ran my quivering hands through his dark, course hair.

"I thought lost you." I said, nuzzling my head into his shoulder, wiping away my tears.

"I thought I lost you too." He eventually put me down and realised how freezing the water was. He hissed in pain and started guiding me through the chilling water. Up to D deck.
