Fear coursed through my veins. I knew the second he burst through that door I was done for. He would likely beat me to death but I soon realised I wouldn't be facing him alone.

"Come on." Joel said, quickly grabbing my hand and pulling me into the closet. We crouched down in the dank, gloomy closet with nothing but the door concealing our spot.

"What th-"

I begun but Joel shut my mouth with his strong muscular hand. I understood his plan.
Our breathing synced up as the door flung open and James entered. My heart was beating so hard in my chest that I could feel it in my ears. Despite not being able to see his face, I could tell that Joel was terrified. Joel let go of his hand over my mouth but never of my hand. Both of our hands became sweaty and hot but we still didn't let go.

We heard footsteps approaching my room and we held our breaths. The footsteps were loud at first but slowly grew quiet until they came to a stop. I looked over in Joel's direction but I couldn't see him.

James was stood outside the closet.

"AHA!"

With a tug on the door, James flung the door of the closet open. I clenched my fist tightly around Joel's not daring to look up but Joel tugged me. James' head was sticking through the closet but he wasn't looking down. He shut the closet door and mumbled some curse words under his breath. He hadn't noticed us.

I had always insisted that he wore his glasses but he always said they made him look old. I'm so glad he never listened to me.

His footsteps receded out of the room quicker than his hair line and this was our golden opportunity. The pair of us darted out of the suite and we ran full speed down the corridor hand in hand.

"How didn't he see us? Is he blind or something?" Joel laughed.

"He never wears his glasses! Thank god!" I said, making my way down the stairs.

We made our way all the way down to E deck. I underestimated how uncomfortable this dress was to move around in because I was practically tripping over it because it was so long. We weaved between the third class children, people and dogs until I crashed into a light haired man.

He was quite small and had pretty short, blonde hair. He toppled onto the ground and Joel snorted with laughter.

"Watch where you're go-"The man stared up up and down, biting his lip. "Well lucky me. Sorry ma'am. I just tripped... falling for you." He winked and i stared at him in disgust.

"I'm sorry about him." I turned to Joel who was snickering, staring down at the man who was gripping on the hem of my dress to haul himself up. "He is very immature."

"No worries luv." The man said, smiling at Joel.

"Isobel, that's my ride or die. Kian. Kian, meet Isobel. She's from the first class." He was still holding my hand tightly, Kian stared down at our interlocking hands and scowled up at the pair of us.

"Well fuck me how did you pull her?" He raised an eye brow, he looked me up and down again as if he were inspecting me. He was much less appealing that Joel.

"What kind of question is that?" I matched his facial expression, placing my free hand on my hip.

"Enough. We are running from her insane fiancé. Can you cover for us?" Joel asked eagerly. There were only so many places on the ship that James could search until he found me. Kian agreed.

"Alright. I guess I can sell him one of my sweet new inventions called Rolex. It's a watch." He led us into a room with a set of two bunk beds. Resting on the lower bunk, there was a black brief case. He flipped the latch and opened it up revealing dozens of watches.
