Are You Ready For It?

It's been almost 3 months since the callback and we've got the whole house packed up, ready to move away. It's been pretty emotional for everyone since our whole family's living near Montreal. Moving to LA means that we won't see them a lot. I can't believe that my mom and Madison are doing all of this for me.

While finishing to pack up my last box in my room, I get a call. I then go to my phone to see who's name shows up. It's Ava. I haven't seen her for about 6 months now, but we text or call often.
Without waiting, I accept the call.

"Hey Ava! How are you?"

"Hi Y/N it's been so long! I'm great how are you?"

"Pretty tired I'd say.. We've been packing for weeks now which is pretty exhausting"

"Must be.. I can't believe you guys are moving to LA, it's like my dream to live there! Thinking about it, i've never even been once to LA"

"Why aren't you coming with us?"

"Y/N I've got my dog to take care of and I don't think she'll like moving like that."

"Ava, Dolly's a yorkie. You can bring a
yorkie anywhere without problem. I
know that 'cause Hailee's dog's always
traveling and I think I've never
seen a yorkie as happy as Martini"

"You sure? And if I come what will
I do with my house? Who's gonna
take care of everything? And have
you guys got a place for me in your
house there?"

"Mom said we'd have a house with 6 rooms, which means that 3 won't be occupied, so you'll have enough space I think hahah. And also grandpa and grandma live near your house
so I'm sure that they could swing by once
a week and take care of it ."

"I'll talk about it to mom. I've got a question before we go. Why didn't you ask me if
I wanted to come earlier?"

"'Cause I never thought you'd consider it.
You're always so busy working and you're
going through so much since your last
breakup. I thought that if I asked you
it'd be one more thing to take care of so
I thought you might need some kind of
vacation if that makes sense?"

"Look, I don't care about him. I did before
but really don't anymore. I also can find
a job in LA easily since they are in big
need of employees everywhere for my career. And my sister's future is way more important
than a small job that I'll leave soon
anyway. So for your information, I would
love to come with you guys. That is only if
you'll accept me and if mom agrees, which
would be lame if she doesn't."

"I agree hahah. Now go ask her before she falls asleep with her chips in front of the TV"

"hahah yea alright bye see you soon"

I smile and she hangs up. I then hear my mom answering a phone call and talking with someone for the next 30 minutes, which is probably Ava. I guess I'll hear the news tomorrow since we're moving away in 2 days. I'm hell'a tired of this day of moving boxes all around and for the fact that I didn't sleep well this week due to me working so hard at my job. I'm glad I did though, 'cause these past days got me pretty rich hahah. Alright to sleep I go.

When the morning came, I woke up at around 8:30 am to help my mom with all the boxes left to pack while Madi went to her friend's house for the last time. I'll probably see Emma tomorrow, which I know will be very emotional. I mean I am leaving my best friend since high school for maybe forever so it might be more than emotional. I just hope I won't end up in depression hahah.
