As I'm sleeping, I suddenly hear a bark in the background, waking me.
"Teenie!" I yell at Martini who, without any reason, just started barking at absolutely nothing while I was sleeping. Gosh I hate when she wakes me up on my days off. I turn to the bedside table sighing and take my phone. It's 10:15. Like always, I check my emails because I didn't last night like I usually do and then check my messages. There's some from my friends, that I decide not to answer right now, and some from my brother which I open instantly.

After texting Y/N, I check to see today's temperature. It shows 96 degrees. Goddamn it'll be hot. I get up from my bed and go to the bathroom to start my morning routine. I shower first and I rinse my face and brush my teeth before putting moisturizer cream on my face. I then put a little bit of makeup on and mascara before brushing my hair and letting it on a natural look for the whole day. It turns out that my natural hair doesn't look as bad as I thought after all.
I get out of my bathroom and get changed into simple summer clothes before getting out of my room.
