Glynda is sitting at her desk when her phone rings

Peter: Darling, how've you been?

Glynda: Hi dad, I've been great, Peach is back and it seems that she approves of YN.

Peter: While she might approves of him, I have yet to meet him, your mother also is eager to meet him.

Glynda: Well you two will just have to come by and meet him sometime.

Peter: Well, we're going to be dropping by Vale tomorrow, we can meet up then.

Glynda: Wonderful, but where were you planning on staying?

Peter: We are staying in a hotel near Beacon.

Glynda: You can stay with us!

Peter: Are you sure?

Glynda: I'm sure, YN has also been wanting to meet you two for a long time.

Peter: That's good.

Glynda: He's a bit nervous about meeting you two, he's thinking about what he can do to impress the two of you. Somehow he feels that he needs to impress you, it's a tad old fashioned but it's sweet.

Peter: Good, if he's anything like your other boyfriends I want to see him squirm a bit.

Glynda: Dad.

Peter: I'm sorry, it just breaks my heart to think that it might go the way of your other boyfriends.

Glynda: DAD!

Ana: (Shouting at Peter) Give me the damn phone, you're scaring our little girl. (Takes the phone) Glynda, don't listen to him, I'm sure he's a good man, and that he'll be a good son in law.

Glynda: You'll love him, he's a good man, a tad over the top, but he is kind.

Ana: So, where does he, sorry, where do you live?

Glynda: We live on 143 west 21st street.

Ana: West 21st street, this YN must be doing quite well for himself. What did you say it was that he does?

Glynda: He's a teacher at Beacon.

Ana: I worked at Beacon for my entire career and never made enough to live in anything more than a small one bedroom apartment.

Glynda: My childhood home was a townhouse though?

Ana: That was because of your father, he was the primary source of income for our family, and the reason we were able to retire to a nice place in the country. So I'll ask again, what does he do?

Glynda: (In head) It'd be risky to tell them that he was in the military as that's a long story. Fortunately he owns a ranch and a banking firm, I think I'll tell them about those two. (Out loud) Fine, you caught me, he also owns a ranch and a banking firm.

Ana: Well why didn't you say so, Peter, our daughter snagged herself a land owning banker!

Peter: (in the distance) Wonderful, I'll have a son in law that I can be proud of.

Ana: It's not guaranteed yet!

Glynda: It is, he proposed and I accepted, we are getting married! And dad, he was also a doctor.

Peter: What type of doctor?

Glynda: He was a surgeon.

Peter: I take back what I said before, he's clearly nothing like your previous boyfriends, he's wonderful!

Ana: You haven't met him yet!

Peter: I don't know him but if what our daughter says is true, he's a son in law I can be proud of!
