"Five please! Just a twenty minute nap and then we can leave, as a sixteen year old, I need my beauty sleep." Josie hissed, walking around in Vanyas apartment and wearing one of her old pyjamas, her arm being covered in bandaids.
"No Parker, we have to go— take off her clothes!" Five groaned, seeing Josie come out of the bathroom. Josie rolled her eyes, playfully taking her shirt off as five hissed at her to go back in the bathroom to properly change.
"You're such a buzzkill." Josie groaned, putting on her sweater and writing a note to say thanks to Vanya before the two left.
"Okay, first you drag me away from work, then you make me go to your dead dads funeral, drive you to where they found us, killed them and now it's twelve at night and it looks like two kids are abandoning their curfew." Josie groaned, carefully shutting the door and following five.
"Look, I got the equation wrong so we have to stay in these bodies for quite some time— or at least until the end of the world." Five said, pressing the elevator button. Josie scoffed, kicking a rock that was on the ground.
"So where are we going to go? Because we both need to sleep." Josie asked, suggesting they go back to the academy.
"Fine. We'll sleep at the academy and then we'll do something that I need to do." Five said, taking something out of his pocket and having a cloth.
"What the hell is that? Why do you have an eyeball?" Pretending to puke and be disgusted, Josie wasn't one to do that, having dried blood on Allison's sweater.
Five didn't respond to Josie, causally showing an eye with no explanation.
"We'll sleep at the academy, then we'll begin tomorrow." Five repeated once again. Josie nodded as five and her walked back to the academy, since five was clearly too tired to blink them there.
It was quite pretty to walk in the city, seeing most stores begin to close. Josie forgot how beautiful it was, she always went on walks with the kids in her neighbourhood, skipping curfew on school days.
The same weird feeling came to her stomach while wandering the streets, wondering what she'll be doing tomorrow at school. Except there was no school tomorrow; there was no seeing your parents dead in the middle of the hallway, it was just her and Five walking together.
"You're quiet, that's a first." Five said, turning to Josie's direction, hoping she's okay.
"I'm fine, just having Deja vu I guess." Josie muttered out, not liking this feeling. "We're almost there anyways, Vanya wasn't one to be far away from the academy." Five said in a comforting tone— or at least tried.
"Yeah whatever, for the record, I'm going to need stitches," Josie gestured to her arm to bleeding again. "We'll be fine," Five said, pointing to his arm injury.
"We make a pretty good team though, I didn't know you had powers." Five said, looking at Josie who already had a big goofy smile. "Yeah, I can read peoples mind or be—"
"Invisible?" Five asked, suddenly intrigued with her life. Josie smiled like an idiot, sarcastically clapping to cover up the smile. "Congrats! You got the answer right." Josie joked, going back to her serious face.
"Oh yeah very funny." Five scoffed. Yawning and seeing the Academy be closer, Josie was the one to open the gates and pray the door was open for the two, letting five go ahead. "Ladies first."
Getting a glare, Josie quietly shut the door and stopped following five. "Where are you going?" Five asked in a protective tone. "The couch?" Josie suggested, knowing damn well she wasn't going to sleep in the same room as five.
