"Why does the academy look better than how it did in 2019?" Following the three sparrows into their basement, Josie knew the vibes were better in here than when it was the Umbrellas, flinching again when she saw the bird near them.

"Get a grip." Diego teased, Lila hitting him in the chest. "Will you stop treating my sister like a child?" She asked, Josie smirking.

"Why is it you don't treat five like a child?"

"Have you met my brother? There's nothing childlike about him." He defended, Josie rolling her eyes. "Ass." She mumbled, walking down the steps and almost going blind with how bright it was.

"Beautiful isn't it?" Asked Fei, everyone coming to look at it. Her eyes were nearly hurting at how bright it was, wishing she had glasses on like Fei. "That's what took Stanley." Lila pointed out, Josie frowning and wishing she got to know their kid more.

"For someone who lost a child, you two don't seem very sad." Josie pointed out, looking at her sister. "He was a trial run, Stanley was in on the prank." Lila said, Josie uncrossing her arms and widening her eyes.

"What—"

"Someone please tell the kid to put a sock in it, we got bigger issues." Sassed Ben, pinching the bridge of his nose, exhausted.

"Okay not now, this things gonna take the whole damm universe." Said five, trying to get them all back on topic. Needing to speak to her sister later about that, Josie stood quiet as Sloane and Five started talking about what the kugelblitz was made of.

"Grace has been teaching the waves. Next one is due in three hours." Said Fei, Josie looking at Diego who was about to speak. "Alright so what do we do?"

"We trap it." Sloane simply said, Josie furrowing her eyebrows at how that was even possible. Watching five and Sloane talk about things she didn't even know, she was somehow attracted to him even more, Diego and Luther having the same thoughts like her, slapping Diego to knock it off.

"For this to work, we need, Sloane, Lila, Christopher and—"

"Viktor." Allison perked up, Josie forgetting about her existence for a moment. "Alright, let's take ten and try go convince him until then." Josie said, everyone agreeing with her for the first time.

She stood there speechless, looking at five who smiled at her. "Look at you taking control." He said to her, the girl still shocked. "Looks like they finally like me." Josie said, her hands lingering new five as the two decided to sit outside on the front steps, slowly watching the world collapsing right in front of them.

"It's weird isn't it, being here. To think we would be retired and living our best life." Said five, looking around him as Josie did the same. They both didn't wanna be doing this, but they didn't have a choice.

"Five when are we gonna stop saving the world?" She asked, a bit tired with the situation at hand. "I'm hoping very soon my love. I'm just as tired as you are." He said, kissing her temples as Josie leaned into his shoulder, both taking a deep sigh and wanting this all to be over.

Hearing the door open, it was Ben telling them to come back inside, his eyes looking at both of them. "Makes sense." He said, looking at their relationship. "Was that a compliment or insult?" Josie asked, getting up from the stairs, fine shutting the door.

"That's a good question." He said, the two of them going into the living room, seeing Lila and Allison, telling them it was time to go back downstairs.

Letting go of fives hand and walking together, Josie didn't completely understand what was happening, standing with five and watching Viktor finally join.

Lila, Viktor and Sloane all stood around the Kugelblitz, josie watching them begin to shrink it, Lila imitating the powers of both of them, cringing a little.

Turning to see Grace come in, Josie couldn't register the fact that five immediately left her side, grace also not being in the basement anymore, wondering what was happening after focusing on Sloane in the air, rolling her eyes.

"Oh you're back." Josie said, leaning her head on his shoulder.  "It's almost over Parker." He reminded her, watching the three almost close down the Kugel, squinting her eyes at the process.

Chris, the cube opened up around the kugel, not gaining consciousness enough to know five and Josie were holding hands in this moment, wanting their life to be over as they counted down to the next wave, Chris just farting.

Staring in disbelief; she didn't want to get her hopes up, five tightening her hand, the girl looking at him. "We did it Parker." He told her, Josie's eyes twinkling.

Everyone knew it was time to celebrate, Josie and five walking up the stairs together and Into the main living room until five needed to reassure everything is going to be okay. They needed to get away from the siblings, deciding to go to the roof and watching everything get destroyed.

It was quite beautiful, sitting together on the edge and sharing a champagne bottle to drink, wanting to be alone and truly cherish each other. For the last five years, all Josie Parker wanted to do was get to know Five Hargreeves, and she feels she finally has, looking at his dark circles, short hair and and the way he looked in his suit.

They were meant for each other in a very weird way, someone finally not caring about his chaotic siblings, although she wished he got to see him with tattoos, she loved him in her 16 year old body and as a woman in her thirties.

She loved every bit of him, was it crazy to marry him now that the apocalypse is gone?

"You're all I got five, you know that?"  Josie said, a little intoxicated but not a lot. Watching him turn to her and nodding his head, he kissed her temple as the two stared at each other for a long time. They were comfortable with the way their lives have been flip flopped, and she didn't know what she'd do without him.

"I will always love you." Josie whispered, five putting the bottle down. "I know you will, and quite honestly I will too." He spoke, her eyes fluttering a little bit.

Eveb if an atom bomb hits them right now; they would be content in knowing their love was never one sided, their hands touching as Josie smiled back him. Blinking back to the hotel, the girl smiled at five as the two went back to her room, ready for bed as the next day were to happen, hugging each other tightly to not let the other go.

Getting into bed, Josie's back faced five, but her hand to hold his, was behind her, intertwined and not wanting to let go. She finally found true love in its weirdest form. Telling him always felt so scary; forgetting he feels the same way, both unsure of how to present themselves in others.

Being private was fun too, both falling alseep with a smile on their face.
