Driving back to the house, the four adults and child didn't dare speak to one another, it was a quiet drive as they also stopped for fast food to eat. Klaus made one of two comments that made Josie snicker, lucky enough to be alive.

Shutting her door as she dipped into her fries, Josie kept herself occupied as she tried to acknowledge the fact she'll be alone for many hours— or even days. She never thought five would betray her like that, she knew five was always a sketchy person, but this crossed the line for him, and her.

Opening the door to the kitchen, Josie grabbed plates for the brothers as they all ate in uncomfortable silence, staring at the angry Josie. "Should we do something?" Diego whispers to Luther, biting into his burger.

Josie acted like she couldn't hear them, even if they were bad at whispering, Josie couldn't help but want to smile at their concerns.

Nobody would willingly ask if she was alright; not her mother or sister, it was quite sad to say the least, regardless, she tried to not show any emotion because there was no point.

"Don't worry, I'm okay, was just hangry." Josie explained, eating with her mouth full. It was true though— partially. It's been a few days since she's had a proper meal without running or scaring someone with a knife after.

The three brothers turned to see Josie on the other side of the table, probably wondering how she even heard them. "We need to figure this all out. Josie you're replacing five for the time being." Diego said, getting a look from Luther.

"What— w-why don't we wait for five?" He suggested. Josie shook her head while slurping her drink, finding their interaction quite amusing.

"We'll never know when he comes back, he has officially left you dickwads." She said with a wink, seeing their aces frown.

"Five has abandoned us..." Klaus whispered to the empty chair beside him. Josie wondered if Klaus was high to jog know that Diego was on the other side of him, cleaning up her mess.

"Look, we can either sit here and mingle, or we can figure out if we want to save the world." Josie simply said, washing her dishes. "Because last time, it didn't work in any of your favours." She mumbled, covering it with a cough.

Wiping her hands with a towel and leaving the kitchen as the siblings tried to get her attention, Josie smiled, walking up the stairs and tried to find something to do. "Oh, hello Miss. Parker, everything alright?" Pogo asked, making Josie turn around and shrug her shoulders.

"Not really, we're going to die anyways." Josie simply said, confusing Pogo. "Uh— are you feeling well?" The chimpanzee simply asked, limping with his cane towards her.

"I'm fine— Pogo. I think I'm just having a headache, I'll go lie down." Josie lied, walking over towards the bar to pour herself a whiskey neat and seeing Klaus light up a smile almost.

"Thanks Jo." Klaus cheered, taking Josie's drink and lazily drinking it for himself. Josie squinted her eyes, grabbing another glass for herself, watching Klaus dance with his drink before sitting back down. "Ugh, five gone, isn't that a shame?" He asked Josie, shaking his head.

"Oh yeah, a real shame." Josie sarcastically said; rolling her eyes and coming over to sit by him. "Why are you so cold?" Klaus asks, grabbing a cigarette and offering her one. Josie shrugged her shoulders, grabbing one as Klaus handed her the lighter after he used it.

"Just how I was born I guess." Josie sighed, coughing a little from inhaling the smoke.

It's been a while since Josie even tried to smoke a cigarette, her very first time was when she killed someone for the first time on the job. Her mother rewarded her with take out food, but Josie felt like she needed to acknowledge the fact she killed someone, deciding to smoke at least twice a week.
