ROSES AND FLAMES - Five Hargreeves

𝟭𝟴. locked up sister

She stared at Vanya, watching her cry and yell for help, except none of them could hear the pain and agony she was it. Josie walked closer to the door, furrowing her eyebrows and frowning. "You locked up our sister because you think she has powers?" Diego asked; standing beside Luther.

Josie stood beside Klaus, both in utter shock and confused as to what this box was, worried for her. "No, I know she does. Pogo told me." Luther said to the group, acting as if that's still okay to lock her up. "He's always known and so did dad."

This is fucked up, invading Diego's thoughts for a minute; she moved out of the way, letting him see Vanya. "Why would dad hide this from us?" He asked the group, all staring at Vanya.

"So this is all based off of what Pogo said?" Five asked, trying to understand the situation. "I mean dad lied about everything else, why is this so far- fetched?" Luther said to Five, looking at his brother.

Josie couldn't wrap her head around the fact that it was Vanya  that could've cut Allison's throat, or the one to kill Peabody. She felt herself sober up in these few minutes; squinting and watching Klaus try to reason with his brothers.

"It's impossible to accept this!"

"No Klaus is right we can't keep her locked up any longer without proof."

"Pro— what more proof do you need?" 

Her eyes shifted towards all four brothers, hearing many things as once, watching Klaus even to open the door, hoping Luther would let him. He did not let him whatsoever.

"Luther what the fuck?" Josie swore, making the three men be shocked as five stood there a little too proud of her.
"I have every reason to put her in there." Luther argued with the girl, grabbing her to pull her back from the door.

"She clearly needs help and we can't help her if she's locked in this shit hole!" She gritted; pointing to Vanya who was still crying and yelling for help. Before Josie could keep yelling at Luther, the five all looked to see Allison stumble towards them, having a notepad and a sharpie in her hand.

Luther has clearly gone soft for a moment, grossing Josie out a little and looking at Diego who had the same idea. They all watched Allison scribble something down on her notepad, waiting in anticipation a little.

"Five can't we just unlock the door? She's clearly scared— I mean look at her?" Josie asked the boy, both looking at vanya with sad expressions, having their heart hurt for the girl. "As ridiculous it may sound, we should let them figure this shit out, Luther is the one who isn't listening and being stubborn."

Looking at the boy with a dead pan face, Josie scoffed, crossing her arms and hearing Luther tell Allison that Vanya wasn't going anywhere. "This is stupid. If Allison says we should let her go— then we should let her go!" Josie interjected, getting a nod from Allison.

"We can't! She hurt Allison—"

"Oh give it up space boy, you're only hurting Vanya more when she's stuck in there. You're putting her in a box where she's trying to understand the powers she has, can you imagine how scary that must be?"

I like this one, Diego thought, waiting for Josie and Luther to stop arguing. "Look I'm not discussing this with you,"Luther snapped, directly talking to Josie, which to him seemed like a stranger these past few days.

"Like I said, nobody is releasing her from this box." Luther sternly said, looking primarily at Klaus and Allison. Josie was startled when she saw Allison ram into Luther, punching and pushing the man.

Josie couldn't handle seeing Vanya the way she was, deciding to leave as five trailed slowly trailed behind her. "This is absolutely ridiculous! I mean why isn't he listening?" Josie groaned, grabbing the clothes from the main foyer.
