A whole day to herself, where to stop and where to go. Josie made herself free from the Hargreeves drama and knew with five gone, she could probably adjust for the best couple days before the world decides to have an apocalypse.

Leaving that house was clearly impulsive when driving around in a school uniform and acting like she's about to go to private school wasn't a good look.

It was a moody day outside, not too cold to need another jacket, but not hot to feel like she was soaking. Many people were walking the streets— mainly kids who were going to school through busses or walking there. Josie admired the ones in groups, having so much energy at eight in the morning.

Josie was quite jealous of them too, knowing that was her with her own group of friends, it made the brunette wonder what they were up to, did they leave town or stay here. Smiling and realizing she should probably stop staring at them, Josie decided to get something to eat.

Not having any money was going to be a little tricky as well, when she walked into a diner that was hopefully serving breakfast already.

Sitting down and sighing, a lady came to take Josie's order as she scanned the menu thrice before deciding. "Chocolate shake, scrambled eggs and bacon please." Josie decided, handing the lady the menu.

"Don't you have school or something kid?" The waitress asked her, confused as and looking at her watch to be 8:30. Josie shook her head, acting as if she doesn't have a school uniform on. "No, ours start later." She replied, hoping she played that off nicely.

The lady didn't seem to be convinced, shaking her head and mumbling, "spoiled white kids." Josie scoffs when she heard that, taking a little offence when the door opened to someone who looked very familiar for some reason. She couldn't make out the details, pretending to be distracted with the tv that wasn't too far from where she sat.

Not too far from the diner, Josie saw how light posts and cars were twisted or bent, making Josie a little concerned as to how someone could do that. But then again, Josie realized she didn't need to care about the world anymore, deciding to become more petty than helpful.

Thanking the waitress for her food, Josie smiled greatly when she saw the milkshake, becoming a little giddy. "Have you never seen food?" The waitress sassed, already giving Josie the bill.

I hate kids, Josie read the lady's mind, rolling her eyes at the back of her head. "Kids hate you." Josie muffled with a piece of bacon in her mouth.

Once she finished up her meal and watching the boring news, Josie quietly made her way out of the store, ( being invisible of course ), waiting for someone to open the door so she could slip out without letting anyone notice he disappearance, smiling like a fool when she got away from it.

Getting into the car she took from the academy, Josie sat there for a minute, appreciating the fact she knows how to drive and was able to abuse her powers.

"Works every time." She smiled, deciding she'd go to the store and pick up new outfits for herself. Wishing she has someone to do this with, Josie wondered if Allison would like to do this with her; shaking that idea off when she made her way to stores and going in to find new clothes.

Looking around and seeing there were barely any people in the store, Josie knew it'd be easy to sneak past security, deciding to make her way into the teen section, gasping with how many options there were for Josie.

She wanted half of what was on the racks, loving the yellow sweater that was in front of her and realized she was definitely going to change into that before leaving the store.
