Josie has never experienced where she saw three not being suitable enough to give a woman blood, too stoned, a gorilla, and passing out seeing a needle. It almost made her laugh, knowing her tears continued to make her break down again, hoping that Allison would be able to recover sooner or later.
"This my fault, if I didn't get gas, she probably would've been fine." Josie says to five, feeling his presence by her once again, turning to look at him.
"Don't blame yourself, you know that." Five said with no emotion, both looking at Allison's body as grace sticks the needle in Diego's arm while being on the ground.
"Little five is right Jo, we wouldn't have known this was going to happen." Klaus butted into the conversation, shrugging his shoulders.
"I may cut in, we don't know who did this to Allison, and we must not assume, for the rest of this procedure, let's let grace do this in peace." Pogo said to the siblings, showing him the way out as grace hummed a song.
Josie felt like she shouldn't leave Allison's side, looking at the lady with pity eyes as Luther stared at josie and five. "Come on, Parker. I'll make you some coffee." Five suggested, grabbing her hand as josie stared at the unconscious woman on the table.
Josie sighed, biting her lip and gripped fives hand, both beginning to walk away, opening the door and deciding to go to griddys donut in a blink of an eye.
Sighing and side eyeing five, josie rolled her eyes and opened the door into Griddys, seeing the same lady from that first night. She almost looked terrified to see the two kids who almost cost her the diner, pouring coffee.
"Hello again kids— what can I get you?" She asked nonchalantly, clearing her throat a little. Josie sighed as she sat beside five, both looking pale and hungry. "Two donuts and two coffee please." Five said, looking around to not see many people in the diner.
The waitress nodded as she put a new pot on, turning away to grab any two donuts, not being particularly picky.
"Five what do we do? Where could Vanya even be?" Josie attempted to whisper, thanking the waitress with the donuts. Five sighed, turning to look at the sad girl in distress, trying to figure out a plan.
"Well I do know the apocalypse is still happening today, sooner or later."
"Yeah not shit, we all know that." Josie snapped, immediately mumbling an apology. Five scoffed, eating his chocolate donut and stared whatever was in front of him, clearly trying to figure something out.
"It doesn't make any sense, what could Allison even say for her to end up like that?" Five asked josie, sipping his coffee.
"Maybe he has powers? He was born on the same day as you guys." Josie suggested, turning to thank the lady for the coffees, giving her a two dollar tip that she stole from Allison's piggy bank the other day.
Five shook his head, knowing that was a little stupid to even mention, loving her effort though. Josie soon gave up on the topic, eating her donut as he coffee cooled down before she took the first sip. Five was almost done his coffee before she was even able to swallow her donut, in utter shock to say the least.
"Will you be okay?" Five asked her with a little bit of sympathy, putting his hand on Josie's hand, looking at her. Josie blinked as she looked into fives eyes, feeling the warmth and pain in his eyes as she tried to not read into his thoughts, giving a weak nod.
"We have to go back, Diego would be able to help." Five told her, waiting for her to not be holding the coffee and grabbing her, blinking back into the academy. So much for a intimate moment between the two, only to be surrounded by his siblings again.
"Oh come on! You couldn't have waited till I was finished with the damn coffee?" Josie groaned as she fell on the couch, seeing Klaus and diego sitting on the opposite couch as five stood in the middle.
Laying on the couch and letting the brothers discuss about Allison, josie felt too comfortable, feeling a little sleepy, wondering if she was able to take a nap after all the blood and distress she saw in the last few hours.
"We have to go find that sick bastard." Diego said, getting intrigued again by the conversation. "Are we going to kill him?" Josie asked with a deadly smile creeping up on her lips, scaring five. "Absolutely not, especially with you around." He pointed his finger at her, looking back at his brother.
After Klaus tried to not come and was threatened by one of Diego's knives; the four finally got off their seats and went to find the car they used last night, making someone else drive. "I will this time." Five said, taking the keys from Diego; blinking to inside the car as the three made their way.
"You alright kiddo?" Diego asked the dishevelled girl, a little concerned to know she hasn't slept in the last two nights, wondering how she is still functioning. "I'm the same age as you, and I'm fine." Josie dismissed Diego, sitting in the front seat as five started the engine.
"Are we going to have a plan this time or are we just going to roll with it?" Josie asked the three brothers, rubbing her eyes and slapping her face to be awake.
The coffee sure didn't help.
Beginning to drive and remember where Harold Jenkins lived, josie wish to not turn back, only knowing she would just see Allison's lifeless body in the backseat as the boys try to help the blood not pouring out.
"I say we just kill him, before someone else does." Josie said once again, clearly not caring about the fact that they have to protect him.
"We need to figure out what his motive is, especially with the fact he's involved with Vanya." Diego said from the backseat, scooting up a little and facing to the two lovebirds in front of him. "I say we just ask what his deal is, simple as that." Klaus added into the conversation, shrugging his shoulders.
Five rolled his eyes at his brother, calling him stupid under his breath as Josie giggled a little. Looking outside and watching the way the trees flew side to side with the wind upon them ever so.
The drive was smoother than last night, able to spot Jenkins house from a mile away, all rushing out of the car and seeing the door wide open— just like last night. "Oh bloody hell." Josie sighed, wondering if he has been attacked.
And she was right.
Running inside and heading past the living room, josie gasped at the way the man has knives everywhere stabbed into his stomach, leaving on the floor where the table was. Josie almost felt herself sink down to the ground, knowing she grew up with Harold, wondering who would've done this with no remorse.
"Holy shit." Five said in a disgusted tone, grimacing a little. Josie too found this disturbing, wanting to cover her eyes as the three brothers and her all looked at the dead body.
"It's not exactly what I was expecting." Klaus said, hands on his knees as she was bent over.
Josie stood beside him, patting his back as Diego's hands were crossed and five began to have no emotion on his face. "The understatement of the year." He said, hands in his pockets.
Before the group left, josie noticed how Harold had an eye patch over one of them, nudging to five who also took notice of that, letting him grab the eye he's been carrying around in decades, removing the patch.
"Oh that's disgusting." Josie hurled and turning away, hearing the gushing sounds as the eye went into the socket. It was the perfect match as five explained it to the three, happy as he wiped the eye and put it back into his pocket.
"So that's it? The apocalypse is over?" Josie asked, creating crickets all around them as the group looked at five, all hoping for an answer. "Well that's great." Klaus said excitingly, clapping his hands as nobody said anything else except the lingering question, was it truly over?
