The next morning was probably the best sleep Josie has gotten, waking up and facing five, their hands still intertwined, the boy slowly waking up as well. Yawning and sitting up, Josie went to grab the remote to turn on the TV, noticing it was gone.

"No! No!" She yelled, getting off the bed and wondering if she moved it, looking everywhere. "Five! The tv is gone!" She exclaimed, panicking. Watching the boy stand up and also noticing the water bottle on the bedside table was gone, the two of them holding each other and screaming into their faces.

"ITS BACK!" They both yelled at ten in the morning, aggressively throwing their hands away. "It never left!" Five whined, his back falling onto the bed, Josie throwing the suit at him to change.

Too annoyed as she heads to the bathroom, most of her stuff was still in check, brushing her teeth and staring at herself in the mirror with anger, changing into yoga pants and a cropped baby blue shirt, showing a bit of skin as she kept her hair down, seeing it got longer.

She couldn't be mesmerized with herself today, angrily going back to five and letting him do whatever he needed to do, sighing. "You think the others know?" Josie asked, five needing help with the tie this morning.

"Those morons don't know anything. Let's go to the lobby." Heading out of their room and noticing nobody else, Josie wondered if they were the last two, or if their family were the last ones to be on earth, rushing downstairs and noticing the lobby be empty.

"Ah look who finally joins us." Ben sasses, Josie giving him the middle finger, five not wanting to talk to anyone anymore, standing by Allison and looking down to the rest of the lobby.

"Where's the bird chick?" Asked Josie, noticing Ben and Sloane. The two siblings looked like they wanted to kill her; Luther holding onto Sloane extra tight. "She's gone." Ben said, rolling his eyes.

Feeling a little sentimental in how hard Josie tried to stay away from Fei because of the crows in her back, she tried to feel bad for Ben and Sloane, but she didn't.

"Oh." Josie said, shrugging her shoulders, Lila smirking at her nonchalantness, "well then! What the hell is happening out there huh? I thought with your little hand— brain powers this would've been fixed!" Josie exclaimed a little, staring at Sloane and Viktor.

Getting a little riled up, five grabbed Josie to stare away from the family, holding her hand to calm down. "Hate your family sometimes y'know." Josie mumbled.

"I do too." Five agrees, both looking down and seeing nobody, hearing Allison began to speak. Josie turned around, intrigued to hear anything, beginning to sit down with her sister on the ground as she wanted to braid her hair.

"So, how is it that we're still here, but the whole universe is going down the cosmic shitter?" Allison asked, Josie and Lila looking towards her, noticing Viktor wanting to say something.

"Maybe we're the last to get flushed."

"Wasn't talking to you." The siblings argued, Lila and Josie scoffing at this. "Here's a better question, where the hell is the comedic relief?" Josie asked, Luther and Sloane looking at her.

"Your brother, klaus! The one obsessed with dickhesd Ben?" She pointed out, hearing a scoff from Ben. "Or dad?" Sloane asked, Josie not really caring for that old man.

"They'll be here." Diego said, looking down at his hands. "Really? Did they... hit traffic?" Ben asked, Josie giving Diego a look of dickhead, the man hiding his grin.

Wishing Lila had an elastic, Josie luckily had one, giving it to her sister as she had down a fishtail, both immediately loving it.

"Look, people. We're alive; because we're special right? We're the only ones who can save the universe." Ben continued, everyone looking at him.

"Are you stupid? We just tried that and it FAILED! You idiot and a half." Josie exclaimed once again, her sister trying to shush her, too emotionally involved in this. Josie knew five was shaking his head miserably in the corner, needing a break from this family once and for all.

"Agreed, it's because his plan was stupid." Said Diego, finally contributing into this conversation. "I got a better one."

"Of course he does."

"We go with the large hard-on particle accelerator. You guys do some science and.... we launch the kugelblitz into outer space."

"This is the worst idea I've ever heard." Josie mumbled, feeling dumber by the minute. Beginning to watch dickhead Ben and Diego bicker in English and then Korean and Spanish, this wasn't on her bingo card at all.

"Hey!" Five yelled, Josie getting a little scared by him. Sighing and wanting to escape this conversation, she just unfortunately couldn't.

"The universe is disappearing outside. Do you can keep rearranging the deck chairs of the titanic if it makes you feel better." Five suggested, Lila and Josie looking at each other and not understanding what they really meant.

"But the fact remains that we are too late." Five added, Josie nodding. "I say we just give up and accept our faith." She added, shrugging her shoulders— five looking over at her with that comment

"Oh come on you two." Said Luther, sitting beside his... girlfriend? Josie didn't know when that properly happened, furrowing her eyebrows a little.

"How about we take a step back. Look at the big picture here. Most of us have spent the last 28 days trying to stop the world from ending. What exactly have we accomplished?"

"We made friends along the way."

"Jo and I reunited."

"Yeah we probably wouldn't if Diego wasn't sent in the insane asylum with you—"

"INCORRECT!" Five exclaimed, pointing to Luther's point, giving the two sisters some credit. "We made things worse every single time." Five gritted, Josie sighing loudly, Lila patting her shoulder.

"I still think us being reunited was monumental." Lila whispered to her, letting the siblings argue. Turning to see her, Josie agreed, Lila reaching out her hand. "I agree." She smiled, both appreciating each others presence without wanting to kill each other.

"Whatever we're doings not working. All we ever do is save the world for a day, pay ourselves on the back and then everything goes to shit again." Tuning back into the conversation they were having, Josie saw the way five was nearly on the verge of crying, the girl giving him a look.

All I've ever done is save this family. Reading his thoughts, Josie bit the inside of her cheek for a moment, wondering what he was really thinking as he turned to look at Josie as she pretended she was reading his thoughts.

I don't know why she loves me, I feel unlovable these days. We should we retired and getting married. Swallowing the lump in her throat, Josie stared at the ground, needing a moment to process the last thing he said, cleaning her throat.

"Whatever's on your bucket list I recommend doing it fast." Five spoke, Josie getting distracted, hearing chatter between Luther and Sloane.

"Well, on that... super happy note; we've um.. got a little announcement to make" said Luther standing with Sloane. "We're engaged!" The couple said, Josie staring at them with her mouth wide open.

"What the fuck?" She asked, wondering if they share a single brain cell to be getting married at the end of the fucking world.

"Ow!" Having her mouth be shut from Lila, the two stared at each other, looking over at their boyfriends for a moment to wonder if they ever pulled something like that, but then again it was five and Diego.

Feeling the need to get up from their conversation, Josie waved them off as she didn't need to be dealing with any of this, needing a drink.

Going downstairs to see Klaus and Reginald, the older man did a double take, looking at her. "You're still around?" He asked harshly, Josie wondering if that was a bad thing.

"No I'm a ghost dating your son." She sarcastically said, watching Klaus' finger come towards her, the girl swatting it away, making herself a vodka with water— heavy on the vodka.

"Time to find a dress." She mumbled, taking a sip of her drink, nearly hacking at how strong it was, diluting it with water a little bit.
