Book II- Spirit
The hallways of Alfea were bustling with students of all years. Finally, a sliver-lined shuttle bus stopped before the gate, “Alfea!” The driver called out. Wan and Korra, with their suitcases, stepped out of the shuttle bus. Kaiyo followed right behind, now a little taller, and her hair was growing. Kaiyo exhaled the fresh air, immersing herself back into the surroundings of the school, “Alfea, it is good to be back.”
“Not as impressive as the first time,” Korra commented, her eyes gazed at the gate and the palace-like structure of the school. “I remember this place being magical. Now I think of it as a second home.” The Elementian Trio walked through the gate to see people preparing for the Reopening of Alfea. Ever since the army of decay invasion, the three schools have been recovering slowly. People were putting up decorations and setting up the stage. The school architecture looked pretty good, even remolding old portions of the school. Wan smiled as he spotted the red-headed fairy, Bloom, “Hey!” the Avatar fairy waved. Bloom turned her head before she spun her body around and waved back with a jog, “Hey Wan, Korra, Kaiyo!”
“What’s up, Bloom!” Kaiyo ran to her and gave her a big hug. “Wow, you grew a few inches,” Bloom measured the fairy of energy with her hand.
“I know! I think my magic has gotten stronger too!” Kaiyo’s cheeks flushed a rosy pink.
Korra picked Bloom up, embracing her with a firm hug, “Woah!” Bloom laughed as Korra lifted her, “It is so good to see you again!”
“Korra, you are going to squeeze her to death,” Wan teased. Kaiyo’s eyes sparkled, seeing Musa playing the sax, “Hey, Musa!” Then, Kaiyo speeds off on her little world in Alfea.
Wan snorted as he watched his sister, “It’s only a matter of time before Kaiyo sees Logan again.” He shook his head but with a smile. However, their dad took it with a bit of shock. But Logan seems like a good guy.
“How have you two been doing?” Bloom asked as she was finally let go by Korra. “Good.” The trio saw Flora’s flowers before entering their designated dorm last year. Korra entered her shared room with Stella. The Avatar glanced down to see clothes scattered all over the floor.
“I leave for five minutes, and this place is covered with clothes.” Then Korra heard the words that she would never have even thought Stella would scream from the top of her lungs, “I hate fashion!” So she stormed in with two dresses in hand.
Korra stared blankly before she sighed with exasperation. “Okay, what’s wrong.” Korra pinched her temple, her gaze at the floor. “I have a sudden inability to not color coordinate! I do not know what to wear. I cannot repeat the same dress.” Stella threw her clothes to the floor, “I can’t pick one!”
“Alright, take deep breaths, like Tenzin always said, calm the mind.” Korra tilted her head, watching Stella’s face turn red.
“This is serious, Korra!” Stella blabbered to get the words out of her mouth.
“I know.” Korra wanted to laugh but kept herself together, “They are just clothes, Stella.”
“Just Clothes! “Stella repeated, getting more frantic, and her face hotter than the sun her powers come from.
“Just clothes, trust me, you will figure something out. You are the Fashion Queen.” Korra waved her hand, trying to exit.
