“Wait, what!?” The Winx shouted. They were all gathered at Faragonda’s desk. “Cloud Tower!? For a week!?” Kaiyo bit her nails at the news.

“Yes, the reason being that Darkar wants the Codex.” Faragonda clasped her hands, showing another magic screen. Depicting four equally cut oval stones, “When Four pieces of the Codex are combined, it will lead to the Realix, one of the most powerful artifacts in the magic dimension that is both infused with the dragon and the shadow phoenix. It is said to be the perfect unification of darkness and light. It has the power to destroy or heal for ill or good. Each school, by ancient law, has one piece of the codex stored.”

“Ah, so that’s what you didn’t tell us. Ms. Faragonda, no disrespect, but it would have been nice to know sooner.” Wan crossed his arms. Faragonda sighed, lowering her head, “Yes, I should have. The Trix made a sneak attack and gained one piece of the Codex from Red Fountain a week ago, and if I am correct, they are working for the shadow phoenix. I’ll need you nine to go into Cloud Tower and stay to protect the codex.”

“I'll buy tacky witch outfits, leather, and dark eyeshadow.” Stella huffed, turning her body around. “Now, calm down, everyone. It’s only for a week. And you have to protect the Codexes.” Faragonda calms everyone down.

“There are no records of Witches asking fairies for help.” Tecna sat on Faragonda’s desk. “Zero times has that ever happened. Even against the army of decay, they were more stubborn than a bunch of badger moles” Korra threw her hands up, “Why would they ever expect our help?”

Faragonda coughed and glanced at Mirta, standing beside her, “Well, most witches and warlocks say that fairies have it easy.” Korra scoffed at this, rolling her eyes at the idea that witches think fairies have it easy. If anything, she felt that fairies had more responsibility. Witches get to do whatever the hell they want. “It’s true, Korra. They also think faes wouldn’t last two days in cloud tower.”

“Now, if you two were to spend a week at classes at cloud tower, then you will have Headmistress Griffin’s gratitude,” Faragonda concluded. The Winx glanced at each other. The idea of having the witches' and warlocks’ gratitude is something. I mean, when they give gratitude, they give it hard. “Then we really have no choice then. We have to study at cloud tower.” Wan said.

Kaiyo dragged her feet as the Winx walked up to the entrance of Cloud tower. Kaiyo swallowed the built-up spit. This was going to suck. None of them brought their pixies along for the ride. They walked up the steep and wavy paths upwards. “Witches aren’t so bad guys, I mean, most of the time.” Wan caught the side glances of the Winx Club and decided not to say anything else. “But, we can’t base a witch base off of the Trix. Most witches want to focus on their craft.” Korra spoke up, “Despite how stubborn and prideful they are. I have a cousin who is a witch and a princess, Eska.” Musa's head almost snapped out of her neck hearing that, “You have a witch cousin!?”

“Yeah, we haven’t seen each other in a while. She smells like old ladies and is a bit creepy, but overall, not bad.” Korra shrugged. “But as I said, despite the natural rivalry, we still need to respect the craft. Fuck the Trix and whatever witch bullies and humiliate others, but don’t round them and the rest into one group.”

Wan forced a smile at the doorway. They were seen by a professor, regal in her style, wearing a tight corset dress in what Bloom could only describe as a gothic Victorian dress. Long sleeves that were paired in three rows of beautiful black Venice lace. Black faceted button closure in front. The separate high collar was trimmed in lace, braid, and ribbon. The full skirt is in three rows of black Venice lace. To complete the look, she wore long sleeve gloves and a vale, masking her face. In her hand was a black lace umbrella.
