Tecna's Sacrifice

Valtor watched as the omega portal began to forge cracks in Andros's planet. It's been only a few weeks, and Andros seas are becoming more unstable. Valtor was used to dying worlds because of his actions, but this would be satisfying. "Tell me, would anyone miss Andros?"

"With their backward values. No." Zaheer said.

"What's going on?" Icy said, looking at the crystal ball. "The unstable portal will destroy all of Andros and the system. The planet can't handle it." Valtor said. Zaheer turned, his heart sinking a bit, but he hid it.

"What!?" Aisha went backward, falling on her seat, her breathing being rushed as Faragonda nodded her head in confirmation, "Yes, Andros and the other worlds in its system will be torn apart by the omega portal. Soon it will go to nearby systems. The entire sector of planets will be destroyed." The Winx listened in horror to the news. Tecna eyes widened, Zenith was one of those worlds.

"No!" Wan slammed her hand on the desk, "I can't just sit here, and another planet be destroyed because of Valtor!"

"Alright, but be very careful!" Miss Faragonda stated, "If it's not working, you must make sure that you transport out of there before the world is destroyed for good."

Thousands of people, maybe millions, flee to ships. Homes and cities were destroyed in the water world. A mother holds her son close as walked aboard the ship, hoping none of the monster mermaids will attack them. The storm and hurricanes increased in power every day. Billions throughout the sector had an emergency evacuation. Thousands of starships, small and large, went into hyperdrive. 

The Winx, thanks to Tecna's teleportation device, was back in Andros, and it looked worse than last time. Korra held Aisha by the shoulder as Aisha's parents were guiding all citizens into starships to leave the planet. "We have to stop this! Magic Winx!" Wan shouted. 

"Enchantix!" Flora and the rest of the enchantix fairies called out.

Valtor's eyes squinted as his eyes lit up in amusement; the fairies were fighting so hard for a planet about to die. The panic and screaming of people running into the star ships. Though no monsters existed in Omega, the monster mermaids did the job well enough. He had already taken the magic treasures of Andros and its nearby planets. There's nothing more than the earth can offer him. Now that Zaheer had gone to Elementia to find the wrath of the four element spell and kill off world leaders, nothing will stop him. Valtor glanced up to see the Trix, their faces frowning; they wanted to join in the fight. 

"It's just that, in the end, I thought it would be us who would get to kill them, you know, after all the battles we've been through with them and stuff." Darcy folded her arms.

"I think Darcy's right." Stormy agreed with her sister, "It does seem like we're getting the short end of the stick."

"Yeah," Icy thought to herself but said, "It just doesn't seem right. We should go!"

"No." Valtor stood up, glaring at the Trix. "As much as I despise them all,  the Omega portal will give out. The fairies and the minions and the rest of Andros will be sent to oblivion because of it. So tell me, why would you want to share their fates?"

The mermaids during the fight were healed with fairy dust from the Enchantix fairies. An old sorceress came to the Winx's aid, saying that she could close the portal and said she was from the king. Aisha recognized the woman as Labiba, the eldest sorcerer in Andros. 

Labiba, Aisha, Bloom, Tecna, and the Dual Avatars ran up the omega's portal steps. Labiba stopped seeing the portal becoming out of control. The sorceress opened her scrolls, reciting the chant. The fairies held each other's hands, using all their magic cores to help Labiba. Yet they were all pushed back, falling to the ground. It failed. 

Tecna took her stance, her gaze alert as she walked towards the omega portal. Wan reached out to Tecna but was stopped by Labiba, who shook her head. "She can't sacrifice herself for my world!" Aisha was staring as Tecna went into the portal.

"Let us see what will happen," Labiba said. The other Enchantix fairies landed to see her go into the portal. Musa covered her mouth, "Tecna!". A bright light overcame Tecna as she transformed into an Enchantix fairy. The Winx looked nervously as, with Tecna's new powers; she used her fairy dust to push the portal down to seal it with all her might 

"What are you doing!" Korra screamed out to the new Enchantix fairy. The ground shook beneath them; everyone ran back. Tecna succeeded in closing the Omega portal, but she got caught in the strong funnel that her wings could not fly out of. Thus Tecna was sucked into the Omega Dimension, the ground sealing above her. 

The sound of the ground shutting permanently left everyone in shock. Korra's ears rang, and Wan was too lost for words. Musa ran to the portal closed and slammed the ground with her fists, tears running down her face. Korra was speechless. She couldn’t comprehend what had just happened. It happened so fast ; it was utterly- 

No, Tecna couldn’t be dead; it can’t be.

No.

Korra goes to her knees, almost shaking. “She can’t be gone. She can’t!” Korra's eyes glowed white, she tried to earth bend the portal, but it didn't respond. Wan stood there frozen in place. 

Korra tries to use her earth magic, anything. “Tecna!” Wan pulls her into a hug, sobbing as well. “I’m so sorry, but Tecna has sealed herself away in a frozen world,”  Labiba said

“NO!” Korra stood up and grabbed the woman by the neck collar. “There has to be a way to get her out!” 

“I’m sorry, Tecna is gone; it is her fate."

Korra screamed as she sobbed for her friend. Wan held her tight, sobbing as well. Soon the rest begin to cry and sob, holding and hugging each other.

Valtor watched in amazement, "These fairies aren't afraid of sacrifice; they keep throwing themselves into danger and die."
