The next day there was an announcement made by Faragonda for the annual welcoming ball. Every year new students would dress in a contemporary style or traditional style of their home world. Wan unfolded his Hanfu, black with dragon embroidery. The rest of the Winx was shopping. He might as well explore the school. Wan stepped from his dorm room. The school seemed quieter than usual.
The corridors were long and wide. He took in the grandeur of the college. Warm green halls, expansive windows, beautiful light like chandeliers. On every side was a door, probably other fairies getting ready. Wan took in the majesty of this ancient but beautiful school. He didn't care where he was going. He just trusted his gut. The Welcoming Ball was only in a couple of hours anyway, so he didn't necessarily mind.
His eyes wandered to an open door room full of books. Wan entered the library, and it was grand and magnificent. He had seen his fair share of huge libraries, but this was amazing. Wan picked out a random cover, flipping through the pages. "I see you like books, I gather." A woman mused. Wan quickly shuts the book. "Sorry, I-"
"No, No, it's fine, young man. Welcome to Alfea's library."
"It's bigger than the library I went to, and I saw the fire nation's royal family library and the earth kingdom's. Sorry- I just grew up in a library. My stepmother is a librarian for Republic City's library." Wan's hand glided across the side covers. His eyes seemed sad., "It kinda reminds me of home."
"Well, I'm certain you would love this place. I'm Miss Barbatea, the librarian."
"Wan." The fairy Avatar smiles, "Do you mind if I look around even more?" Wan questioned, "Of course, but the opening party is in a few hours."
Wan nodded and roamed around. There was so much here it almost made Wan giddily. He didn't know where to start. He chooses a few random books and begins there. He didn't know how much time had passed because Kaiyo was running inside the library, "Wan!"
Wan snapped out of his reading session. He fell backward on the chair, hitting his head, "Oof, For Heaven's sake, Kaiyo!" Wan gets up, massaging his head that was hit on impact.
"Sorry," Kaiyo pointed her fingers together.
"No kidding." Wan groaned deeply.
"I had been looking for you, and it's almost time to get ready for the Ball. Korra had an idea of where you were. Obviously, at the library. Stella, meanwhile, is freaking out about us making a reputation and stuff," Kaiyo said. Wan huffed while closing the book. He put the book in its original place. "Well, let's not let the princess wait."

Wan walked out of his room with his Hanfu on with the other fan. His hair was in a bun with a gold hair piece.
Korra, doing the last touches of her hair, was dressed in a beautiful thick blue fabric, decorated with triangle embroidery, wide sleeves lined with finishing touches of soft ermine. Korra had a pale blue headband with her hair in a bun.
"Have you seen my ring?" Stella rushed as she looked under the table and the bed. "No, I haven't, but where was the last place you left it? Backtrack from there." Korra placed a small pin in her hair.
Stella began to recount where she left it and ran off to the bathroom without a word. Korra stepped into the living room. Wan unconsciously parted his lips. His stomach fluttered at the sight of her. Korra took a glance at Wan before she turned away bashfully. "Wow, you guys look great." Korra sat down with Musa, who wore a red and purple kimono with pants and a headdress. Tecna, on the other hand, wears a green and purple tecno dress with a headband.
