Chapter 9

A few days have pasted, it's now Thursday.. As Bri went with no sleep since Monday, Bri couldn't help but feel more awake but she was still sleepy.. Every time Bri wanted to sleep, she slapped herself awake.. Because whoever he was, wanted to kill her and her family..

So she stayed awake for the sake of her life and her families lives, she would not go to sleep because her life literally depended on it.

As Bri was in the living room in her oldest sister's house, she looked around and noticed there were more pictures of her and Alley, even more so of Joey, Alley and Bri. But there were still pictures of Nicole, Gabe, Ryan and their parents. Just not as much as Joey and Bri, 'does she love me and Joey that much?..' Bri whispered to herself, as a sleepy smile came upon her face.

As Bri was sitting doing nothing, then Alley came into the living room with Joey. "Hey little sis wanna come trail riding with me and Joey?" Alley asked her favorite sibling, which Bri looked at Alley and sleepily nodded her head. So Bri went into her room to change into some jeans, and a nice white t-shirt with a black and red flannel.

As Bri looked at herself in the mirror, she wasn't impressed on how her face looked.. Her eyes looked so drained from the lack of sleep as she went without sleep for 4 to 3 days.. Which is almost a week, as Bri thought about that she began to feel even more exhausted.. As there were big black bags under her eyes, that were crescent like, as it was appearing like a smile as in a teasing way as Bri began to get annoyed by just looking at her tired face..

So Bri stepped away from the mirror in her room and opened the door, then Bri went upstairs where Alley and Joey were waiting for her. As Alley handed Bri new cowgirl boots, that had a red design on it. Which Brianna smiled weakly at her sister, but Alley didn't notice any of the behavior in Bri. Which was odd to Brianna, as Alley was the first one to know what is wrong with her.. This wasn't normal, was it because Bri and Alley distanced themselves for so long that they forgot everything about each other?..

As Alley helped Bri pick out a horse, which the horse was a Mare and she was a beautiful light brown horse with a very very dark brown mane. As Alley helped Bri saddle up the horse, which Alley called this mare Miracle. Which was an absolute beautiful name for a mare, as Bri began to softly pet the mare the mare neighed at the little girl in a happy way.

Which made Bri happy as she felt more awake then asleep at this point, as energy rushed through Brianna. Which Alley seemed to notice in the sudden change of her little sister's mood, this made Alley extremely happy and excited to go on this trail ride with Bri.

As Joey and Alley saddled up their horses, which Joey had a beautiful black horse with a white star marking on the Stallion's forehead. While Alley had a beautiful white horse while the Mare had a black heart marking on its forehead. As Alley and Joey led Bri into the forest to the horseback riding trail, Bri began to feel even more awake by the minute which was strange as she was extremely tired back at the house.. Was this all just a dream?..

As Alley, Joey and Bri began to walk through the beautiful nature Bri was more awake then ever. As she looked around her surroundings which was mountains in the distance, trees, long wild like grass, water and small critters. As they started to near the water, Bri was uneasy about water after Benjamin killing Uncle Gabriel and Aunt Susie.. But she would have to face her fear of water, so she pressed on.

As Joey crossed the river first, then Alley followed after her boyfriend. But when it was Alley's turn a boy, that looked like Link appeared out of nowhere causing Bri and Miracle to stay put in place... This boy looked like Benjamin's Link but he was different he looked exactly like Link, but something was off about this Link..

This Link had white hair instead of blonde hair, his eyes were red instead of the ocean like blue eyes, his clothes were black and dark grey instead of the green or blue outfit Link usually wore.. As Bri stood still, this Link smiled in an evil way..

"Oh you must have mistaken me for Ben, am I correct?" The Link spoke, as Bri nodded her head the Link seemed to chuckle at this.

"Oh don't worry I'm not Ben, the names Dark Link if you would. But my oh my, you seem to be drawn to the forest, now aren't you?"

"U-Ummm I guess you could say that, I lived around forests my whole life. So I can never really get away from them, so I guess you could say I'm drawn to them." Bri spoke, as Dark Link smirked.

"Well you'll love your new home, but you'll have to wait a little bit longer my dear. See you in a couple years!"

Once Dark Link said that he vanished out of thin air, making Bri dizzy but Bri pressed on as she crossed the river Alley and Joey looked at her confused, "um you okay Bri?" Joey asked Bri, which she nodded her head. Which Alley and Joey looked at each other, then back at Bri. Which they didn't ask anymore questions, and pressed on towards the forest ahead.

As they made it back home, Bri was about to unsaddle Miracle but Alley and Joey were already ahead of her. So Bri just shrugged her shoulders, and went inside. As Bri ignored everyone, and went straight down to her room.

She realized that Dark Link was sitting on her bed, with her sketchbook.. "I never knew humans had talents for art, but you do.. I mean look at Smile Dog, I haven't seen him in normal dog form in a while." Dark Link spoke, as he held up Bri's sketchbook for Bri to see.

"Y-Yeah I'm a bit of a nerd for art.."

"Well I might have to talk to Slender about this, well to bad you won't remember anything.."

"What do you me-" before Bri could finish, Dark Link snapped his fingers making Bri feel dizzy and sick to her stomach..

As Dark Link picked Bri up and placed her on the bed, he shut the lights off Dark Link made Bri close her eyes. Then within minutes Bri was out cold, as Dark Link darkly cackled to himself he left Bri's room by just the snap of his fingers..
