III. Circus

Ty Lee was only three years old the first time her parents had taken her and her sisters to the circus.

It had been one of the most memorable nights of her life.

Since then, the brunette had developed an enormous fascination for acrobatics, gymnastics and performance. 

Now she had heard the circus was back in town and she couldn't wait to catch a show.

Ty Lee went up to her mom who was stirring a giant pot of noodles in the kitchen. 

Next to her, Ty Lin and Ty Liu, two of her other six identical sisters, were playing with the raw noodle dough.

''Hey Mommy, so... the circus is back in town and... I was wondering if...'' Ty Lee began shyly saying.

''Ty Lin, you can't eat the raw dough, you're going to get sick of the stomach. How many times have I told you this?'' Her mother said turning left to one of her daughters who was eating some of the uncooked noodles.

''Sorry darling, what were you saying?'' She asked Ty Lee.

''Mom, Mom! Ty Lum got scratched by Mrs. Ito's cat!'' Ty Woo suddenly barged in the kitchen screaming.

Ty Lum came in right after her, crying and holding her left arm, which had a small scratch that was mildly bleeding.

''Oh Ty Lum, for the love of agni, get over here, I'll have to disinfect you.'' 

''Ty Woo go get me the bandages, they're under the sink. Girls! keep stirring the pot.'' She commanded, signalling the two other girls.

''Its okay, it's okay darling. See, not all animals like to be played with.'' Her mom consoled Ty Lum as she cleaned her scratch with a piece of wet cloth.

''Ty Lee, can you also get me the rubbing alcohol? It's in the bathroom sweetie.''

Ty Lee nodded and went to the bathroom to get the bottle with alcohol. 

She gave it to her mom, who used it to disinfect Ty Lum and later put the bandage over her scratch.

Ty Lee kept on waiting for her mom in the kitchen until she could give her some attention.

''Okay all good now sweetie. Go on now. But no more playing with the cat!'' She said and the little girl went away holding on to her bandage.

Just a second after, another little girl entered the kitchen.

''What's for dinner mom? I'm starving!'' Ty Lat asked.

''We're gonna have some good ol' ramen.'' She said, going back to stirring the huge pot.

''Oh, ramen again? We just had ramen the other day!'' Ty Lat complained.

Her mom sighted. 

''Yeah well I also made Gyozas, you can eat that instead.''

''Mom, mom!'' Yet another girl came in the kitchen. 

''I can't find my hair ribbon anywhere! But I found this one, can I use it?'' Ty Lao asked her mother.

''Hey but that's my hair ribbon!'' Ty Lee responded.

''It's okay honey, remember you all have to learn to share with each other. Let your sister borrow your ribbon, just for tonight.'' Her mom said and Ty Lao left the kitchen happily.
