Blue Fire 火 Tyzula

V. Kingdom

Azula and Ty Lee arrived to the great city of Omashu after just one day of travelling by ship.

Escorted by Azula's servants, they made their way towards Mai's new house.

''Please tell me you're here to kill me.'' Mai said in her usual monotone as soon as she saw the Princess and Ty Lee arriving.

Azula laughed at her dry humour before putting her hand over Mai's shoulder.

''It's great to see you Mai.''

Ty Lee rushed forward to give Mai a big hug, but she only patted her back a little with her left hand, feeling uncomfortable.

''I thought you ran off and joined the circus. You said it was your calling.'' Mai said with confussion.

''Well, Azula called a little louder.'' Ty Lee replied, faking her enthusiasm.

''I need to tell you guys something.'' Mai said getting serious.

''My brother Tom Tom was kidnapped by Omashu's resistance, just a few hours ago, and the Avatar is with them. They're willing to trade him at noon if we give them our prisoner, the former King of Omashu.''

''The Avatar huh? it's my lucky day. Don't worry Mai we'll get him back. And we won't even have to dispose of our prisoner.'' Azula said self-assuredly.

Azula, Mai, and Ty Lee went to meet up with the Avatar and two of his friends which Azula guessed from their get-up, were from the water tribe.

After calling the trading deal off, Azula shot a huge flare of her blue fire towards them, but the Avatar, being a skilled airbender, was able to doge her attack and ran away.

The princess followed him while Mai and Ty Lee fought the other two.

After Mai got her arms frozen by the girl who turned out to be a waterbender, Ty Lee skilfully hit her in three times in her body, disabling the girl's bending.

They almost had her until the other guy turned out in a flying bison out of nowhere and blew them both away by a simple swish of it's gigantic tail.

The same bison distracted Azula a moment later and helped the airbender escape.

Unsuccessful at her capture of the Avatar, The princess was only left with a stronger drive to find him, and she was not going to fail.

This had been something she had learned from a young age; when you fail, you must learn what made you weaker, so you can correct it, and then try again.

Azula regrouped with Mai and Ty Lee right after.

''So, we're tracking down your brother and Uncle, huh?'' Mai asked Azula after Ty Lee had told her about their original mission.

''It'll be interesting seeing Zuko again, won't it, Mai?'' Ty Lee teasingly asked Mai, knowing she always had a crush on Zuko.

Mai just smiled to herself.

''It's not just Zuko and Uncle anymore. We definitely have a third target now.'' Azula replied.

''Azula, I noticed your fire is all blue now. When we were kids you told me one day you would make all of it blue, and you did it! Do you remember?'' Ty Lee said looking at Azula.

Azula looked back at Ty Lee feeling a slight flutter in her heart.

''Yeah, I remember.'' She said with a little smile, obviously recalling the time she had told her at the palace.

Ty Lee smiled right back at her.

''Anyways.'' Azula said changing the subject as soon as she noticed she was smiling, and went back to her decisive look, turning to both girls.
