SARAH
The water heats up my skin as I stand in the shower. My rose lavender-scented body wash intoxicates my nose and brings me peace.
The stressful event from early not only left physical bruises but a mental tug. There is a slight purple bruise on my lower back from Jasper's hand when he grabbed me. Another bruise is slightly red from the lack of oxygen my skin was getting when he held me against the lockers. A slight scratch formed above my belly button.
I take the loofa off of the hook and run it across my body. The bruises burn as I add pressure to get rid of the marks.
"Sss," the fresh cut burns under the water.
The soap suds around my body, I leave it there as I turn the water a bit warmer. I step under the water and rinse off the soap. I use my hands to scrub my skin. My soft skin feels nice against my fingertips. The shower head is about two feet higher than my head. I take it off the hook it is attached to and use it to get the rest of the soap off.
Feeling a slight pull down, I notice something between my legs. A white-ish clear substance, discharge. I rinse it off and out the shower head back on the hook. I take my time washing my hair with shampoo and conditioner.
My room is pitch black with the curtains shut, so no one can see inside. Since it is just us and the Johnson that live here, I am not worried. My pajamas for tonight are laid out on my bed. A white long sleeve shirt and black spandex are paired together alongside a bra and panty set my mom bought me. She always believed that everyone should have a matching set.
I drop the towel on the floor and let it pool at my feet. I step into the underwear and spandex. The bra and shirt followed. Bending down to pick up the towel, I notice a hair tie on the floor near my bed. I pick it up and set it on the dresser.
We had pizza for dinner. We made it home and watched a movie. My parents weren't happy that Soran didn't tell them he was going to be gone, but they seemed okay with it. It bothers me that they have been letting him go out and come home late.
Soran used to never do such things and always respected them. I guess now since he is older they are more lenient. I wish they did that with me. I never get to go out or hang with Becky late. Soran goes out to parties and smokes weed, not to their knowledge though.
They would have a field day if they ever found out. Soran keeps a low profile though, we also never got in trouble for ditching school the other day. The school never called our parents which I thought was weird. My dad would have been angry we didn't go. He is very adamant that we go to school as much as possible. Probably to keep us out of trouble even though he says it's for our education.
Anyway, I finish getting ready for bed and decide to braid my hair, so it will be wavy tomorrow. It's Saturday tomorrow, and the only thing I am doing is sleeping in.
I split my hair into two sections, tying of the first section with on binder, and then starting the braid. I grab the binder off of the vanity and tie it off. When I finish the second braid, I walk over to the dresser to get the hair binder and see it isn't there. I look on the floor and can't find it.
It was right here, I set it here after I picked it up. I want to use that one because it is the same color as the other one. Whatever, no one will see this anyway. I go back to the vanity to grab a different binder and see the one from the dresser sitting on top. Surprised, I must have set it there and forgot. I grab it and tie off the braid.
I need to decompress. I keep thinking about today at school with Jasper. It doesn't make sense why he wouldn't be possessed like he was at the party.
It could be that the entity wasn't possessing him, more of attaching itself to him. When it noticed something better or thought to do something else, it left Jasper alone.
