Chapter 11

Third pov

While they waited autumn looked around at the different restaurants in the food court, her tummy growling, wanting autumn to eat something now. The child turned to cash, pulling on his sleeve to catch his attention, when he looked down at her she pointed over to a nearby McMtt.

" ya hungry sweetheart" red asked when he noticed her pointing, with a nod as his answer red turned over to the three younger brothers, he leaned over to edge letting him know she needed lunch. " OF COURSE! WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO EAT HUN?"

" burger n fries..."

Edge grimaced a bit, looking down at his brother with suspicion in his eyes. " ey ey, don't look at me, if that's what the kid wants that's their choice" edge looked away from autumn with a soft huff.  " COULDN'T YOU HAVE PICKED A MORE... HEALTHY OPTION"  before autumn could answer his question, blue and stretch had finally arrived back to the group, holding quite a few bags in their hands while the two of them talked to one another. " YOU SURE WE HAVE EVERYTHING WE NEED?"

" yep"

" STRIPPED SWEATERS?"

" yep"

" EXTRA SHOES?"

" blue, we made sure of everything four times before we left, it's all here"

" I KNOW I KNOW, IM JUST..."

" being a mother hen?"

Oh if looks could kill, when the lot of them arrived up to the table, edge sat his hand on to autumns head, catching her attention once more. " ARE YOU SURE YOU DON'T WANT SOMETHING ELSE? THERE'S SO MUCH OTHER RESTAURANTS TO CHOOSE FROM THEN THAT DISGUSTING SLOP"

" ey give the girl a break edge, probably didn't have much else to eat from if ya look at her parents"

" HMM YOU ARE CORRECT, THINKING  ON IT I BELIEVE IT WOULD BE BEST IF YOU TRY SOMETHING NEW, HOW ABOUT IT SMALL ONE?"

Try something new? That sounded tempting but autumn was craving for some burgers and fries at the moment, and the McMtt restaurant looked really good. From what she could see from the meanu they have glitter burgers! Glitter on a burger! Sounds like a pretty lunch for autumn too have. Autumn starred up at edge, staying silent for a moment or two before pointing over towards McMtt.

" Glitter..."

" WHAT ABOUT IT?"

" wanna try..."

" yeah, you don't want any of that stuff squirt, if you want greasy food so much cash, sans, and myself can take you to grillbys" red answered her, his head leaned against his folded arms, his lazy red eyes peering over at the restaurant for a moment before a small shudder flew down his spine. Watching his reaction made convinced autumn it was best to try something else, after looking around a bit, the group decided to eat from a little Japanese restaurant, edge was some what ok with his meal, a bento box of different veggies decorating on top of the white rice he ordered.

Autumn on the other hand, was completely satisfied with a whole box full of Singapore, which was quite surprising for the boys due to how spicy they made this meal, but she seemed to be ok with it. Kid must have an iron stomach...after the group had their lunch and scattered conversations. The group gathered their purchased items, stood up from their table, made sure they had everything before taking their leave out the front doors of the mall.

Edge had picked autumn up in one of his free arms, holding her against his right hip while the group walked to the car. She had already ran off once today, don't need her doing it again, in the middle of the parking lot no less. After piling back up in to the car ( edge making sure autumn was strapped in snuggly), the group of bones were all out on the road again.

The young child looked out the window, watching silently at the different stores and people pass by, from beautiful humans, to gorgeous monsters, the young child waved at basically everyone. Blue gently pats her head, looking out the same window she was looking out of.

" WHO ARE YOU WAVING OUT LITTLE ONE?"

" new....friends..."

" OH SWEET CHILD, I'M ALL FOR MAKING NEW FRIENDS, BUT THERE IS SUCH THING OF MAKING TOO MANY FRIENDS" Blue said leaning back against his seat, in the middle of his explanation edge pulled the car up in front of a nearby park. It was a fairly large park, a little area for children to swing back and forth, a large jungle gym that stretched from one end of the park towards the other, different slides, twisting, steep slides. Monkey bars and tight rope like play areas connecting the different jungle gyms together.

Autumns eyes lit up with stars, her little feet kicked against the top of the seat she sat in while she flapped her hands a bit in excitement. A small squeal escaped her mouth as she wiggled her way out of her seat belt, trying so desperately to get the child safety locked door open. The group passed around Snickers and chuckles before they all got out of the car again. Blue gently set autumn on to the ground, making sure her outfit was warm enough to play around in.

Blue gently placed his hands on his shoulders, looking autumn in her eyes with serious eyes. " AUTUMN, LISTEN TO ME VERY CAREFULLY ALRIGHT?"

" yes blue"

" IF ANYONE YOU DON'T KNOW TRIES TO COME UP TO YOU, OR OFFER YOU ANYTHING WHAT DO WE DO?"

" ...make a new friend?"

" NO NO, YOU COME TO ONE OF US OK? AS I WAS EXPLAINING IN THE CAR, THERE IS SUCH THINGS OF MAKING TOO MANY FRIENDS"

" Too many?"

" MHM, I MEAN IT IN A WAY OF, DON'T TALK TO STRANGERS UNLESS YOU NEED HELP WITH SOMETHING, BUT YOU ALSO HAVE TO MAKE SURE THE PERSON YOU WANT TO TALK TO IS TRUSTWORTHY"

Autumn tilted her head to the side in confusion. " trust...rothy?"

" MHM, MEANING YOU KNOW THIS PERSON IS TELLING YOU THE TRUTH, OK?"

" yes blue!...may I go play?"

" OF COURSE! BE SAFE! HAVE FUN! IF YOU NEED ANYTHING, MY BROTHERS AND I WILL BE OVER THERE OK?"

Blue pointed over to where the others have sat down, red and cash were laughing at whatever they were watching on their phone, stretch was leaned in to his arms with his eyes closed, more then likely asleep, edge and blackberry were standing around the jungle gym area watching over it like hawks.  Autumn looked back up at blue, nodding at him before rushing off towards the monkey bars, happily giggling as she climbed all over.

Completely unaware of the burning, Christmas light like eyes peering in to her back.

" SEEMS SIMPLE ENOUGH, RIGHT BROTHER?"

" yeah sure, whatever you say paps"
